bobtr001
So you work hard to develop Alchemy, Enchanting or Smithing, wouldn't it be good to have people in skyrim seek you out because of your reputation? The idea is periodic quests generated by a script based on the character's skills. Alchemy quests could be as simple as collecting quantities of ingredients. For Enchanting quests, collecting certain creature souls in soul gems for a client or locating and enchanting certain weapons or armor or even clothing or jewelery. Or more complex quests involving the construction of totally new armors from pieces of other armors for those with smithing skills. Or how about bonuses to creating certain types of potions at the expense of handicaps for other potion types and the same for certain enchanting types. For example; I'm good at restorative type potions so I'm not too good at poisons or the other way around. I'm good at enchanting weapons but not armor...etc. The game seems to have the random quest feature in it already but it could be better developed. gyrofalcon
This would fit right into the idea of more quest from the barkeeper.
