  1. In my games (after patch 7, now playing the latest hotfix 23, 4.1.1.1524131 At random interval, I experiences stutter/heavy FPS-drop/freezes that last for a few seconds. I can move my mouse sometime, but the game locks up. Haver never crashed because of this directly, This is my modlist: Alternative half elf head 4-260-1-4-1635453205 BG3ImprovedUI-2.13 (from Github) Everburn Blade Fix - Hidden in Dialogue 2.0-263-2-0-1635456889 LvlUp - Patch 7-118-2-0-5-1646947379.1 LvlUp-5eExperience-118-1-00-1634928611 Patch3ModFixer.pak-141-1-1-1607110233 Shadowheart Alt Hair-21-v3-1-1614932930 Party of Tav, Gale, Shadowheart and Lae'zel. Didn't get EverBurn Blade this time, and the all the mods seems to work. Anyone sharing my experience? Playing on GoG, on 1440p, with a 3080 LHR (not breaking a sweat at all with GPU usage at about 30%) My CPU is at about 60% Overheating is not a issue. When it happens, my GPU and CPU drops down significantly, and FPS goes to 0.
  2. I find it very strange that this isn't a function in Vortex yet... In my opinion, Vortex should have generated 4 text files pr game that it manages; #Game#_Uninstalled.txt, #Game#_Disabled.txt, #Game#_Enabled.txt and #Game#_Total.txt (with letter U-, D-, E- in front of the mod name, also including info from the Extended info tab in Vortex (Mod author, Mod ID, version, etc)) This "common user files" maybe should be "retrievable" from the Vortex UI. But the best way could be to establish a Vortex folder within "My documents" for files that users can find in handy. Vortex should just dump copies in this folder, including time-date in file name, if any changes happens in load order, or mod file date after updating mods, etc. In Vortex we can tell much disk-space user would like to dedicate for this function. Also change folder location, etc?
  3. Are you using any mods that enables console? -console in command field works find with me.
  4. You are thinking of starting up Vanilla, after you have installed mods? Yes, by clearing out / rename the plugin folder, no mod will load. And to be pure vanilla, you must de-install BepInEx as well. Have no idea, how a ongoing world and character will like that.
  5. Hi, just a FYI Was had the Vortex in Beta mode (Settings, Vortex, Update) and on v 1.4.9. Had restarted Vortex several times the last few days (PC off/on) but no update to the client. Changed it to Stable, and got prompted with 1.4.11, installed and restarted Vortex.
  6. I see aedenthorn has uploaded a mod named Death Tweaks...
  7. That is the ultimate proof that I in fact never had ctrl, so I never lost it. Good to know :D
  8. It is not your mods. That is just the game being in Early Access and not finished yet. I assume at some point you will be able to upgrade the bench and your troll armor another level (I love the troll armor, so can't wait). Earlier worlds/characters this wasn't a problem. And so far it is only Troll armor that demands level 6 of my workbench. And my game have lvl 3 as start level to craft it... There is some strange voodoo going on here :p
  9. Well... I have 68 mods and for some odd reason the Workbench demands me to upgrade to level 6, for me to fully upgrade my Troll Armor set... What am I missing here? Looking for gamers that have the same issue, so we can compare list of mods. Or even better; That some actually know what the frack is wrong with my game (and me?)
  10. I see cstandford has added a License to his Valheim depot 4 hours ago. cstamford/ValheimMods is licensed under the Do What The F*** You Want To Public License The easiest license out there. It gives the user permissions to do whatever they want with your code. (https://github.com/cstamford/ValheimMods/blob/main/LICENSE) I love this guy :D
  11. That works on plants, but if you'll have "tree-farms" you can't replant birch, oak or swamp tree, without the mod. This is the only mod with seeds for those trees. So the Tree Respawner will not auto-replant these trees without the seed existing in the game. I wish that this mod could get integrated with "Plant Mod" by @aedenthorn.
  12. To quit is a fair choice. You got to do, what you got to do. And again, there is no fault for the moment, but would love if anyone got permission to keep up the work. The mods from Xenofell I use are BuildHelper (especially WorkbenchAttachmentRadius, BuildDistance and AreaRepairRadius are very much a must) and ImNoMasochist (I like it that I can increase the "chambers" of the Smelter and Kiln) Please feel free to enlighten me if there are any mods out there that can replace these 2. Snip from config files: [ImNoMasochist] ## Changes the death penalty modifier - 0 disables death penalties. (Valheim default is 0.25f) ## Changes the max wood the smelter/blast furnace can hold. (Valheim default is 20) ## Changes the max ore the smelter/blast furnace can hold. (Valheim default is 10) ## Changes the max wood the kiln can hold. (Valheim default is 25) ## Changes the rested length per comfort level. (Valheim default is 60.0) ## Changes how close you msut be to a piece to gain its comfort. (Valheim default is 10.0) ## Changes how heavy the wagon believes it is, leading to changed maneuverability. (Valheim default is 1.0) ########### [BuildHelper] ## Changes the workbench/stonecutter/etc distance. (Valheim default is 20.0) ## Changes the distance that station extensions can apply to a station. (Valheim default is 5.0) ## Changes the distance you can build using the hammer. (Valheim default is 5.0) ## The radius of pieces that will be repaired around the original piece. ## Pieces will always drop full resources, even when a resource is flagged to never drop.
  13. The signs tells us that the author quit, but it was strange to take down the mods and delete the user at Nexus. But the Thunderstore and Github (https://github.com/cstamford/ValheimMods) are still up, but untouched for some time. The mods works fine for now, and I do hope Xenofell comes back.
  14. These mods are not updated since early marsh, and are still up on ThunderStore anbd Github. (But still not updated there either) So to calm Vortex, I had to remove the mod ID, so then Vortex checks for updates, it doesn't give an red error. Edit: The user it self are gone :( Well, it was fun when it lasted. Hopefully others can make similar mods, should the mod break due to an vanilla update in the future.
  15. Just lost track of some of the mods uploaded by Xenofell. So Vortex acting up, since the nexus page is gone. Any clues?
  16. My best suggestion is to use AntiMicro in the background while using gamepad.
  17. Yepp, you have an outdated mod, calling for a PrivateArea.CheckAccess and fails, since something changed in the game-files after update. Had this with a few of the mods I use, but they got fixed very fast.
  18. I think you are reaching for a perfect world, and there is none to reach. To enforce law and order, you need man-power, and lots of it, with a site this large. And/or plenty of bad AI to auto-correct users, words, posts, etc etc. I think you are on to something; there are community members out there that maybe have lower standards then you, but why hold that against them? If they like the mod, and / or don't understands it could be better, well... That is their choice, in my opinion. This is a diminishing problem, with so called "bad actors", that they go away in time, or gets better people-skills. This is your opinion, and I don't hold that against you. You believe that the bugs are real, but maybe not the author? So what? We can all agree that it was a better world, and everybody was 100% nice. But no, we are not. And I was thinking; Fraud of what? Trust? Your time? Yea, of course Nexus is flawed. It is a free site, run by a small staff, and some volunteers to help out the community (I'm not affiliated with Nexus, other being long term community member and supporter) Over the years I've seen authors like this come and go, and for the most part of it; everybody ignored them, and we moved on to other mods or games. I'm sorry, but everybody has the free choice to be an idiot, and nobody should loose sleep over it. As they say in Frozen: "Let it go"
  19. Nope. But you can sit in a cart, and a mod for tamed animals can pull it...
  20. And you go on with the hurt feelings, again. Instead of ignoring my maybe poor choice of words, you take them to heart. The authors conduct is not very wise, for sure, but whom benefits for that kind of behavior? Nobody, imo. But to use Nexus as a user, you browse mods according to number of DL, how well it is updated and how many endorsement the mod has. Then you can look deeper into how many kudos the user and how many other creations has been released. You found (in your opinion) a bad apple. Well, ignore and move on. If the author refuse to cooperate and take feedback, the mods will not grow and become popular. And the person will loose interest of staying at the Nexus as a creator. Yes others can get the same "unfair" treatment, and the mods could remain rubbish, but then you learn how to actually use a free mod-site like Nexus. Creators don't get paid, and you pay nothing. There should your realistic level of expectations be.
  21. Do you have an army of moderators that could monitor and enforce every tiny level of rule-set over such abstract themes as "code of conduct"? Should we also then define mod-authors respons time and update intervals on bugs, or how to correctly file a bug-report for all users? What about consequence for breaking certain abstract rule-sets? Time-out for posting? Banning in x days? Where is the line? Do you have any idea how big of a fall that would be for a site like Nexus? I'm sorry your feelings got hurt, but now it is time to ignore this nexus-user and move on to better mods. Please stop trying to fix problem that is not yours to fix. You don't like a mod or user (for what ever reason that is your personal matter), then ignore and move on. If someone violates community guidelines, then report it using the sites various report-mechanism, and move on. Sorry for the rant. Nexus has clear guidelines for users that moderators enforce, but I think that list is to short for your liking.
  22. Well, @SkrunchyCakes, we can agree to disagree. The author has the full right to exclude what ever mod-users they like to. They are sharing their creations, so they can control whom gets to use them. The author doesn't like you, so now you must move on. It sucks, but this is not new with Nexus. Many other mods to use, and pretty easy for you to ignore that mod-creator.
  23. The Nexus way have been stop using the mods you don't find productive to your gameplay. I feel your pain, but the author hasn't done anything wrong according to your summary, in my opinion. It it sad, for sure, that community members can't (won't) work together, but as I see it, the author can deny your help/feedback/input. You have no right to download the authors creations. And the author is not obligated to give support or fix any fault in the mods, or make them compatible with other mods. If you feel that the mod it self is bad for other users, other mods, etc, you can report the mod. Or if the author has mis-behaved in the comment section, you can report the post, or report the user it self.
  24. Dang it! You are so spot on... I forgot that my TamedWolfPlayerDamageReduction is set to 95, since I always killed my Wolf companion during mob fights. Some testing long time ago, that was way forgotten... Thank you!!
