KiokothePirate
I've recently started trying to build my own player home and I'm looking for a resource where I may find a small bathtub to go in the main bedroom. It only needs to be big enough for two and I plan on adding script to auto-strip NPCs. So does anyone know where I may find a good tub to use? NexBeth
This mod here has a bathtub in it. You'd need to look inside the mod in the CK to see what resource was used. It may well be a vanilla mesh or meshes put together. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39400/? Also, this mod has pools that can be sized to your liking to create a smaller more intimate looking private spa. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4052/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrimspecialedition%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D4052&pUp=1 I've used that one in my mod of which there is a pic on my mod page. And this one is used for several other mods. I believe I've also seen more traditional tubs in the skyrim resource section but likely would not be good for animating with npcs or player. thumbincubation
All else fails, you can use a horse trough, sized up slightly. There's also that stone dwemer trough, looks more like a shallow hot tub. Edited December 8, 2016 by thumbincubation
KiokothePirate
I may have found a solution, but the mesh is missing its texture. The name of the Mesh begins with "LS" and I can't figure out what "LS" stands for. I have all of the DLCs loaded and there are other objects that begin with "LS" that appear correctly. So what does "LS" refer to?
KiokothePirate
Nevermind, the LS was referring to another mod that I was using as a reference.
thumbincubation
I just saw a mod that offers a room in Jorrvaskr. There was a small wooden tub in the room and I believe it was credited as being part of a resource. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6167/? KiokothePirate
It's all good now. I ended up making my own tub using some stone walls, dwemer stone chairs, and some stair cases. I'm trying to make the house feel like it fits in with the Vanilla game, meaning I'm trying to only use objects available in the CK. My justification for the tub is whoever built the house either accidentally dug into a spring or dug a hole and threw some boulders in to give it an outdoorsy feel. thumbincubation
Nice. That conjures the image of the fake stone they use at zoos, and to make swimming pools look like natural rock. Always makes a good, comfortable feel to me. Can't wait to see it.
