RustyS85
I recently reformated my pc and reinstalled FO3 and I just recently got to the end, I have the game of the year edition and it tells me that my level cap was raised to 30 at the start of the game with all the other notifications that all the DLC`s are active and installed. But when I finish the game, it just goes to the ending credits like I dont have the DLC active. It worked in the past with the mods I have but I have one new mod now that I believe to be the issue its the Fellout mod, could this be causing this? I am fixing to disable the fellout mod and see if I cant get Broken Steel to start then try reactiving it, the mod manager is laid out in the following order. Fallout3.esmAnchorage.esmThePitt.esmBrokenSteel.esmPointLookou.esmZeta.esmFellout-full.espFellout-pipboylight.espfellout-brokensteel.espfellout-pointlookout.espfellout-zeta.espfellout-anchorage.espstreetlights.esmcotozic's vault home.esmcotozic'svaulthomeglobalpatch.esp I was able to play all the DLC even broken steel with Cotozic`s vault home and the street lights but with my reinstall I activated fellout. If theres something i can try other than having to disable fellout I would be greatful to hear about it. Thanks in advance. I disabled the fellout mods through the mod manager and it still does the same thing going to try disabling all mods if that doesnt work I dont know what to do now. This is a hard copy I got back when the Game of the Year edition first came out so its not a steam download. BlackRampage
Do you have FoMM? (Fallout Mod Manager) The reason why I'm asking because that load order you posted is simply impossible if you have FoMM. FoMM always sorts .esm's above .esp's. Unless you have run FO3 edit master update. And re-sort your load order like this: Fallout3.esmAnchorage.esmThePitt.esmstreetlights.esmBrokenSteel.esmPointLookout.esmZeta.esmcotozic's vault home.esmFellout-full.espFellout-pipboylight.espfellout-anchorage.espfellout-brokensteel.espfellout-pointlookout.espfellout-zeta.espcotozic'svaulthomeglobalpatch.esp As for Broken Steel not starting: Are you using a custom race? Even if you don't, get this mod: CREBSOR It's extremely unlikely it's caused by Fellout by the way...

I was how ever able to get the dlc to start, I had to disable all mods through the manager to get it to work but it works with the mods enabled but right now I am stuck at the presidential metro, the security breach has been stopped but everything goes along like it hasnt yet. Was thinking maybe disable the global patch but I will try it with the vault home up above fellout and see how that goes.
BlackRampage
right now I am stuck at the presidential metro, the security breach has been stopped but everything goes along like it hasnt yet.Sound like you're just stuck in the quest and don't know what to do to let the quest continue. So it could well be that there simply isn't a conflict at all, but that you just haven't figured out yet how to continue. Have you already repaired the metro line like that "Margot" computer asks you to do? I will try it with the vault home up above fellout and see how that goes. That won't change anything. Just disable that vault home global patch to see if disabling will allow you to continue Broken Steel.
RustyS85
Last time I played the game what happened was after I cleared out all the ghouls the sential repaired the fusebox itself. I did disable the global patch and it didnt work but then I killed the sential and plugged in the fuses myself down side is the two sealed doors opened up releasing a couple more security bots then the game crashed to desktop after that. I really hate to disable the vault home to try and progress considering I already did that once and lost a lot of one off unique items. Will try again at forcefully fixing the damage manually though. Well everything worked fine, sucks that I had to become enemies with the security in the Presidential Metro but I guess if that has to happen to continue on I guess it has to.
