ddiniraq
I've tried numerous times to load MODs , mostly building MODs, they show up in the MODs menue etc. but most add nothing new and others only add half the items they say they do and create a bunch of blank items, very frustrating. damanding
What mods are you trying to use? Can you give us more detail on what the issues are? I suspect it's open beta NMM problems with not fully installing the mods. Also give us your full mod list in case you have mod conflicts.
gamefever
Sounds like you haven't altered your Fallout4.ini file yet, there is unfortunately a step that is required that isn't exactly spelled out prominently for ppl to follow. Check out Gopher's Fallout 4 Mod clinic on You Tube he addresses how to start modding for fallout 4 and gives some real nice mods to start with that are very helpful. crawe1x
Yeah, when the game first came out, mod authors always offered a reminder to alter the ini files. Now, however, it's pretty much a given. As a result, the latest mods rarely mention this, so if you're new to modding FO4, it's not necessarily something you'll be aware of... That said, I thought I read somewhere that the ini files don't need to be altered anymore, but it was probably someone talking crap and honestly it's not something I've looked into since I made the changes myself over a year ago. So yeah, gamefever is right, check out Gopher - I've learnt so much from that guy ever since Skyrim came out.
