SkyTaylor21
I'm making a world and I want to add bird sounds and insect sounds. I could always make markers for my sounds but I feel like it would be better if I did it the way Bethesda did it. I know which bird sounds I want but I don't know how to apply them to my region. If anyone knows how to properly add the sounds to my worldspace, could you please share your knowledge with me? :)
Di0nysys
You can apply sounds that play periodically by using the regions tab. This lets you customize frequency and what sounds play within select cells within your worldspace.
SkyTaylor21
Where is the regions tab? Edited December 9, 2016 by SkyTaylor21
agerweb
World - Regions to open Region editor. Create a region and then go to the sound tab of that region and you can set the music type and add your birdie sounds as well.  Example PS: You add the sounds into the panel by dragging and dropping from Sound Description in the Object Window. SkyTaylor21
Ok... I added all of the bird sounds that I wanted and I wanted to hear a lot of them at once so I set all of them to 1.0000 but when I went in game, there wasn't any sound. Any ideas? agerweb
Is your region only a part of your worldspace? If so you need to click the override box otherwise it will probably default to the Worldspace settings.
SkyTaylor21
There are 3 or 4 new regions that it split my current worldspace into. If I don't hit override, will it only play those sounds in the region that I edited?
agerweb
I haven't experimented with the various combinations but I'm guessing ticking override in a region plays those sounds in that region rather than those from the outside it.

SkyTaylor21
Now I have a new question. I want to change the sound of a water type. I know how to change the sound but the window is so big that I can't save my new settings. The save button is cut of by the bottom of my laptop. I tried scaling the window down but apparently you can't do that, then I tried hiding the taskbar and it was still cut of by the bottom of my laptop. Is there any way I can resize the window or somehow save it without selecting the save (or apply) button at the bottom?
