Installing mod question: script

I'm trying to install some mods, most of them have gone in perfectly, but there are some that state 'requires script in order to install correctly', even launching through FOSE doesn't seem to help that I can see. and ingame the mods are visible as far as inventory but don't show up in the actual game. (I'm specifically trying to install the Puella Magi Madoka mods. (Homura and the school uniforms)

Ah. Well, the error message you get is simply because that mod cannot be installed via FoMM's package manager.

The only answer is to circumvent this by installing the mod the old fashioned way: By copying and pasting the mod's folders and files into the appropriate Fo3 directories. You can also check the readme for this. Most mod readme's provide instructions for this.

So do I basically have to delete them from FOMM and just copy everything into the data folder? (I take it that's what you mean by installing manually? I'm fairly new to the whole Mod things, I've played fallout just not on PC.)

If by removing it from FoMM, you mean remove it from FoMM's package manager: Yes.

When manually installing it, don't just copy the Mod''s folder into the data folder though. With most mods you have to open up the mod's folder.

There's usually 1 or more .esp's or .esm's in it. Those need to be put straight into the "data" folder.

Then there's usually 1 or more folders labeled "Texture" or "Meshes" or both. These can also be put into the data folder. When it asks whether you want to override, simply select yes.

After that, open FoMM, and if everything went well, you'll see the mod's .esp's and/or .esm's in it.

That's all there is to it.

Tried, it doesn't seem to work, and for some reason mod manager keeps crashing.
