UnusualBonkHelm
Alright, so I want to make a random video within FNV, and I wanted to give this NPC my voice, and then record him speaking (lets say sitting on a legde or next to a campfire). I'd activate him, and in the conversation window would select the line that he'd speak. The dialogue exits, I go into TFC and disable the hud, and after 5 or 10 seconds he starts speaking, and that's it. Then I'd talk to him again, and select the next line, etc. I know how to create and place an NPC into the world, but how do I make him sit, or how on earth can I script the selectable dialogue I mentioned above? Any help would be appreciated!
Mktavish
Are you wanting to see the player selecting dialogue in your video ? Or are you just thinking you can't get a video capture of everything you want your npc to say without that? Mktavish
But to make an npc sit in a chair is done with an AI package of "Use Item" And you can also make an AI package to start the dialogue with a condition of the player coming within a distance. So no need to start dialogue with the player off the video and make them pause while you get your video capture program running. At least that's what I surmized you were trying to accomplish with your query of it. Edited December 13, 2016 by Mktavish
JoKelly
you could use a script with activator to run some dialogue and to use animations.
