winddelay
I'm trying to make a clutter object (deck of playing cards) with the 2013 export tools, but my object hangs in the air, it doesn't move around properly like a clutter item should. In max, the main item has a weight of 0.5 kg, and the c_obj has paper as its material, and clutter as its object type type. The collision item itself is a simple box. I'm not sure I'm using the right export script. What is the right script to use for something like this? I don't see one that looks right. Nothing with "clutter" in the name, etc. Or is there something I have to do in eldric or nifskope to make it work right? I've exported quite a few static items and they work properly, it's just with these moveable ones that I'm having an issue.
Ethreon
export using PE Static ArtGive it a collision type static, with a weight of 10 or anything under 60, and a material of paper. Not really sure clutter is working the way you want it.
winddelay
Yeah, I can't seem to get it to cooperate. Here's my files if anyone want's to poke at it, see if they can see what's going wrong. This is what it looks like when I export selected on the mesh item.http://i.imgur.com/VN8COeH.jpg I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong. I notice I've been getting an error when I open up the file, looks like this;http://i.imgur.com/gTBttPf.jpg I'm not sure what is causing that, or if it's related to my issues. I'd love if someone could take a look at my files and tell me if I'm making some kind of mistake. Edited December 13, 2016 by winddelay
g2mXagent
1. system unit must be Centimeters. 2. object's transform, rotation, scale must be zero(0).
Ethreon
1. system unit must be Centimeters. 2. object's transform, rotation, scale must be zero(0). Not true, unless that error appears for some reason when you don't do those two above steps. I've had MAX setup without any unit of measurement and been exporting both zero'ed and non-zero'ed meshes. Obviously it's better to zero them and collapse the transform, but it's not a big issue if you don't. OP, is your plugin installed correctly?
