Anya29 Posted December 16, 2016 Share Posted December 16, 2016 The only mod I have ever encountered that does that is Citrus Head for NPCs. You haven't installed that as well have you? pathtopower Posted December 17, 2016 Share Posted December 17, 2016 (edited) Any mods that changes the mouth or the jaw placement by replacing their teeth meshes+textures may cause slowdowns or them npc's mouth won't open when they speak. Any changes in the ini files to speed up the papyrus engine can also cause a bug when it comes for npc's to talk before their mouths open. Causticquoth Posted December 29, 2016 Author Share Posted December 29, 2016 (edited) I don't have anything that is changing the jaw or mouth placement and I haven't changed the papyrus settings in my ini. I have no idea what could be causing this, I went through my mods one by one. No idea what to do now because I uninstalled all of my mods, reinstalled the game, and started a new game. Same thing.
