Possible to port a Mod from Skyrim to Fallout 4?

First off, I am not a modder in anyway. Obviously, but just want to clear that up so you know my level of knowledge when it comes modding. I did a quick search on Google and YouTube first to try to find this out, however all I could find was stuff about porting from FO3/FONV to FO4. One of my Mods from Skyrim is "The Loners Sword". I think it is one of the best looking custom sword out there, and I always used it. Just love the thought of running around the Commonwealth with this weapon. Anyway, is it possible to port this lovely mod from Skyrim to Fallout 4?

I don't have any permission to port this, I have not asked the author... Mainly because I don't know if it is possible to do. If is I will happy ask the mod author for his permission to do so.

I think what DivineHorizon is asking, after looking at the mod, is that it is a modder's weapon asset, and not a Skyrim asset, and wants to port it over.

The short answer is yes it's possible with mod author's permission.

The long answer is that it will take some trial and error. I'm looking at porting the Darker Than Black Dagger over for the mod author who doesn't have time to do it. Since it's his asset, it's okay. The problem is, Skyrim weapons are all one mesh/piece. Fallout 4 weapons, in this case knife and sword, are multiple pieces. The blade and the hilt, so the mesh and textures would need to be split. That's because of the weapon modding process. However, one of the mod authors from MikeMoore's channel said it may be possible to use the base mesh data from a Skyrim .nif file to Fallout 4 which would keep it in one piece. Thinking on what Thandal is saying, that may be a no-no.

That's the limits of my knowledge.
