clumpy
my three year old saw me playing and he wanted to try. so a few times now i've put it on auto-walk and let him move the mouse to explore around. he loves the scenery, the wildlife, climbing stairs and crossing bridges... but i don't want him to see the violent stuff. i have to stop and reload if anything starts attacking him, and i'm sure if we do this much more it'll be a wolf ("dog!") from the front that runs up and tries to kill him, instead of something from behind. or someone with a "big knife" or... so it would be awesome if someone made a mod that made everything non-hostile. or in some other way may it so that young children could walk around and explore without being exposed to people and animals trying to kill them, their blood spattering all over, and maybe even if they could fall off of mountains without seeing their dead body right after that would be nice. it wouldn't matter if the game wasn't actually playable, as in being able to solve quests and advance levels or anything. we just want to walk around and enjoy the sights. Icedgamer
lol i grew up playing diablo 2, but i can understand that he may not be able to play the game yet. but when he can skyrim would be a great game to start him off on (better then diablo anyway lol), just keep those nude mods away. Smizzy
Yeah I suggest tdetect and tgm. tgm is Toggle God Mode, so if he wanders off a cliff or manages to get into any other predicament then you wont have your character dieing. Also if you want to have a laugh you can type tcl when not targeting anything. It causes the game to no longer care about the players gravity or collision with objects, you can fly through the sky... and mountains.
leyasu
Errr you let your 3 year old kid play Skyrim? Personally i wouldn't. there is a age rating on games for a reason. All kids should be doing is farm gold on wow servers :P
Allephus
I mean....it's an Epic Fantasy game...with blood, guts, and gore....sexual themes...drinking...I mean....a modder COULD potentially take up this request....but to me it seems like a big waste of time....It's nobody's decision but the player's to let their kid play an obviously Mature game.FATE is a better kids game...plus...kids would understand that game more...and have more fun because of its simplicity yet...you get the ability to become more powerful than 100 Skyrim characters at cheat-leveled to level 500 combined...so...it seems to me like "The 13th Warrior" should be left rated R, and The Lord of the Rings should be kept at PG-13, and Narnia should stay PG. If you catch my drift?
Xeronova
my three year old saw me playing and he wanted to try. **Looks at Skyrim box, sees big, bold "M" in bottom corner... ** *imagines politicians talking about how "parents aren't monitoring what their kids are playing" yada yada yada* It's rated "M" for a reason. You wouldn't expect Hollywood to make an R-rated zombie movie with all the gore cut out so you could watch it with your kid on DVD, you'd let him watch Bleep Blop Rainbow Socks or whatever kids watch nowadays and wait until you have some time to yourself to watch the zombie flick alone. But then again, you're here asking for a mod that disables one of the main attractions of the game. 1. Get a Facebook account2. Search for "Cafe World"3. Let him play that. If he complains about the graphics don't look real enough for him then tell 'em to look outside a window or something. Also, don't get into the habit of using the excuse of "my three year-old saw me doing this and he wanted to try it." That'll be a loooong day in court after he sees you drinking a beer. miscdude
This has turned from "This is how you solve your problem" into a "This is how I think you should parent your child"...Kind of inappropriate? The Tcai Tdetect and Tgm console commands should work to solve the problem. You might also adjust your settings to disable voice and subtitles if you're worried about things like that as well.
