Can anyone help me with this message: IMPORTANT QUESTION i got the balgruuf greatsword and it wont let me get rid of it how do i get the quest done with! It looks like he finished the quest but still has the quest item. Since I haven't done this one myself, I'm not sure how to answer. Anyone else encounter this or a similar problem? Kuramin Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 He's not supposed to still have the quest item since Proventus Avenicci is supposed to take it from him in order to complete the quest... So I'm not too sure what's up with that. :sweat: Actually, from what he said it seems like he just clicked through and picked up the quest accidentally, without actually reading what needs to be done.
