gamemaster79
Have you tried completely uninstalling the game through the guide link that I've posted in my thread, "Problems with Reinstalling Oblivion?" It worked perfectly for me, and if there are any problems then I'm sure there is someone on this forum that has had a similar problem to yours. gamemaster79
Maybe you uninstalled it wrongly before this problem.
Triforce1
I'm not really familiar with a few of the specs you just listed, but could it be a problem that your DX (is it short for DirectX ?) parameters can't be found? If that is important and it can't set up, then isn't that something to check? Just a shot in the dark though. I'm not familiar wiht those last few things. Saurav
I try to copy the whole thing from the CD into my computer I get that error ... parameters can't be found...
bben46
Those parameters do not come from the Oblivion disk. DirectX is a driver program needed by Windows for certain video functions. First, your graphics card must support directx 9 at a minimum for Oblivion to work at all. Its available from the Microsoft download site. download and install Directx then try to load Oblivion again. If your video supports it, directx 10 is out also.
