Geck Crashes on save

Ok so the problem is that every time i load the geck and a mod i am working on, everything is fine until i save and the geck immediately crashes. I have tried loading other .esp's and they work fine. The crashing .esp is using 4 .esm masters. (FalloutNV.esm,Lonesome road.esm,Old World blues, and Momod.esm) Is there any way i can stop this as a lot of work has gone into it. The backups i made are not working either :( Any help is much appreciated.

If your plugin is an esp, but *named* esm, on save it will apparently masterize your esp. Then when you try to save again, geck will crash, probably because you're trying to save changes to an esm.

 

 

 

So how do you fix that problem. Haven't had any problems before, then suddenly i'm not able to save

I'm making a mod, and have been for like the past 2 months, and everything's been working fine until today, the GECK crashes when I press save. No matter what change I make.

 

I don't know why, like I said, it's only happened now...

My mod is .esp

I only have 3 masterfiles, including new vegas

and I haven't messed with the GECK files except for when I did the multiple masterfiles thing

 

I need help and I thought this might be the place to find it...

If everything was working and now it isn't, check your antivirus to make sure it didn't get a false positive on one of your GECK dll files. I've had that happen before. I had to add an exception in my antivirus so it wouldn't keep deleting the dll.
