Game will NOT start after trying to get mods! (PLEASE HELP I BEG YOU)

Unfortunately I'm kind of at a loss, it's tough to diagnose without watching what you're doing. I'm about to leave work shortly (where I oddly have quite a bit of free time to contribute to support threads) and the for the rest of the day and much of tomorrow I'll be really busy. It should be as simple as having the ini edits, using MO to install the mods and starting the game from MO.

ok, thanks for trying, i'm honestly at a loss too right now, but i'll keep trying i'll prob figure it out eventually. Thanks for the help tho

Alright, I figured it out. It turns out it must have been something with my graphics card driver being out of date, since after i updated it I have had no problems and the mods are not crashing my game anymore so far, and i've successfully installed 8 of them now (about half of which previously did not work)

Graphics drivers can very often be the root cause of some off the wall, seemingly fully unrelated issues.

 

...but even with that knowledge firmly in place in my brain, causing those types of mods to break the game is just weird. =/

 

Now you can suggest the possibility when someone else has a similar issue. =)
