Battlemage92 Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 So thinking of a way to make the Skyrim experience, more realistic, and to follow some form of very very loose storyline. I've been through most of the main storyline with my other character, but I want to experiement etc. So here's the background story to the Bosmer character I'm planning. > He dislikes the limitations of the Green Pact and wants to be different than the Bosmer around him. However he feels he has too much in Valenwood to look after, that he cannot travel.> However, the Valenwood elders (authorities or whatever) catch him eating plant matter that has not been imported, and he is sentenced to a duel. He eventually wns the fight, killing his opponant, but refuses to cannablise when ordered.>Rather than kill him, they exclie him, to make a point.> On his way through Cyrodil, he travels close to the skyrim boarder to look at the throat of the world, hunt (for money), however he is mistaken for a Stormcloak due to his odd clothing and weapons, and is herded along with the captured Ulfric. It's basic, but I was considering using this for a Youtube let's play, so any extra ideas would be really helpful, and I will list the names of people with ideas that i use.Primarily I'd like some ideas for filling out the story-to-come so that I can use a journal system or something on youtube. daniel3267 Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 Drizz't Do'Urden is a well known drow(darkelf) Ranger character from the forgotten realms setting in Dungeons & Dragons. He was mildly similar in some ways to what you are planning but not so much that I would say you are wrong in your ideas for your character. It is difficult these days to come up with something totally original, so go for it and have fun. my two cents anyway. P.S. the Drizz't books were written by R.A. If so, then I know who you mean! lol. I've also had an idea, that I wont use the Deadric weapons, but as part of the story, the Bosmer, most likely to be named Farren, will aquire these 'gifts' in order to scatter them away from man and mer. I.E. Hiding Mehrunes Razor in the Dawnstar Sancturary. Obvious where some of them would be placed, but might mix them up yet. And also, the guy would harbour a hatred for the Thalmor, they killed his previous wife or something, and will attack them onsight if they are roaming.Im planning to have him join the Rebellion as well so after that, he'd get his payback against the imperials for trying to lop of his head!
