MyDogsTale
i voted for number 5. I think Ms. J is a provider of fun ONCE in a while (like once every 2 month).but, on a regular basis it's F**ks you up.And if people wan't to smoke it then they should be allowed to do it...but harder drugs (speed, heroin, meskalin,shrooms...you get the idea) thats a NO GO zone! I know that some people like to push the limits, some of them ends up as junkies, but like to think of them as WEAK beeings (call me an evil person if you will, but if you go that far then your point blank stupid). any other opinions? anyone? Zmid
I did hear somewhere that marijuana is actually less harmful and less addictive than cigarettes or alcohol. I am not entirely sure if this is true, but, if it is, then marijuana should certainly be legalised. Either that or nicotine and alcohol should be banned. If not, you have a clear cut case of double standards being applied.
Eltiraaz
I have done it several times and there was a point where I was sure that it was the thing for me.. But after seeing a friend of mine... :o hes been doing it activley for about 1 year. His brain is fryed. His reaction has slowed down. He always looks like hes half awake. Its quite depressing. I am thinking now that its quite a stupid thing to do. I have also heard about it being less harmful than cigarettes. I think its quite bull. Apart from the fact that marijuana is not addictive, it is about equally harmful to your health. I've done both. Believe me. (I'm quitting smoking right now). For example, your still inhaling smoke, it burns your lungs all the same. (although they do put such things as tar and poison into cigarettes) Plus marijuana kills brain cells.. I'd rather be addicted to cigarettes than be a vegetable from smoking too much weed. As for alchohol as long as its not used excessivley its perfectly safe. Too much drinking can result in liver problems. So yes I used to "smoke"/"bunt"/"blaze"/"toke" but never again if I can help it..
Shakkara
Alcohol also kills brain cells... As for me, I want to remain pure, so no cigarets, no coffee & coke, no weed and drugs, and I don't take medicine of any kind. As for alcohol, I taste that, meaning no more then a small glass (smaller then teacups) of beer, half of that if it's stronger then beer, and only a few drops if it's over 20%. Malchik
I have seen friends who start with weed progress to hard drugs when they find the experience just isn't working for them any more. I would therefore not want to get involved in case I went the same way. However marijuana is so easily obtainable I'm not really sure whether the question of formally making it legal means anything. The arguments for decriminalising hard drugs are much more emotive. Maybe someone would like to start a thread on that? If you have a compulsive/addictive type of personality (like me and many computer gamers) it's not a good idea to get involved in anything that can destroy your health when carried to excess. Otherwise moderate consumption of alcohol should not harm you and may even be good for you. (I am less happy with smoking because that affects others directly.) The saddest experiences I have had is seeing friends die who have been archetypal 'clean livers'. It seems so unfair. Go for balance, that's my view! ohGr
ive done all that marijuana stuff a while back, and it ruins you, instead of getting a light feeling, i hallucinated, got violent, and ended up vomiting when the effect wore off, according to one of my friends when i was "elsewhere" i attempted killing him, i still dont know what type of plant he put in that joint, and i didnt want to know, then i found out that belladonna makes you get the same symptons i had, and it caused the manson family to do on a killing spree, or something like that, this has scared me for life now and whenever i see a ciggarete or a joint, i dont know why but i just loose my mind and feak out, it could be related to other things happened to me, one kid tried to shove a lit ciggarete in my ear, he only got the top of it, and hes scarred me there, which could relate to why i go paranoid whenever i see a ciggarete. although, i also hear it makes you paranoid when the effects are active
ctogher
I did hear somewhere that marijuana is actually less harmful and less addictive than cigarettes or alcohol. True and false..... ^_^ mj does not present a physical/chemical addiction risk but rather one of pleasure/endorphin. In this respect it has certain benefits over tabacco. However, smoking mj is almost five times worse than tabacco as this is roughly the volume jump in tar deposited in your lungs. So not exactly a health move.. If I correctly recall, of all the "elicit" chemicals, mj presents the least addictive. But any external influence on your system, especially if you have and addictive personality, is a risk. It is not uncommon to see progression from smoking to mixing, (mandrax/mj), to mline, etc.... Yah. leglise it and let the cops focus on more serious issues.... Argoren
I did hear somewhere that marijuana is actually less harmful and less addictive than cigarettes or alcohol. However, the new spread types of marijuana are 10 to 15 times stronger than the genuine plants were. That's why the point, that it doesn't make you addictive isn't really true anymore. Personally I've never smoked anything and definitevely never will. I've seen people changing when starting to smoke, that also appears when smoking cigarettes. It's something in their behaviour, in the way they react. Whatever it is, I don't like it.
Switch
Well, seems to be a lot of very mixed views on the drug here. If it's less harmful and less addictive than tobacco, then by all means, legalise. If however it is more so, then don't. Personally I think cigs should be outlawed too. At least in public places! Ugh. If inhaling it from a distance is that bad, I don't wanna know what it must be like at short range. Intentionally poisoning your body for kicks/popularity... blegh, could never do it. If others want to, that's their choice, just don't do it near me :P Personally, I've never done drugs, not even cigs, and never will do. Never even had beer :P mainly because I'm under age ;)
MyDogsTale
 hmmm, funny, my mom has acused me for smoking ms. J, and she found my water pipe...i have to go to the doctor and take a urine test...poo but i still think that marahuana should be legalised, even tho some people go'es flat out of society becouse of it (it should be noticed that unstable people should stay away from drugs...it can have undesierable effects)
