altoft316
Ok here's the deal, SSE was working perfectly in the uk modded with over 100hrs gameplay and no problems I think I had 1 crash. Moved to Spain connected my pc and played for a few hours while not connected the the net and all was fine. Tried to load it again but it crashed and re-booted now this happens almost all the time. Also sometimes I get a message saying the save is corrupt followed by a crash Please help.
altoft316
Seriously nobody can help? I'm thinking it's a power issue, crashes happen whenever lots of things happen at once.
L3s7ing
Well... it's pretty unusual that a game crashes cause you move to another country ^^ Maybe some sort of overheating? That could affect your psu and there for causes the crashes. You didn't change anything in the game? And it's not savegame releated? (tested with new save and under load)It could also be that when moving to spain something "broke" in your pc ...
altoft316
Should not be a problem with overheating since I have a liquid cooler, there is the possibility that something was damaged in transit but I dont know how to check that. Saved game issues are no longer present since I got connected to the net again.
L3s7ing
Just so I didn't understand something wrong. With re-boot in this context was meant that the complete pc restarts right? (English isn't my native language...) Cause overheating was meant for the power supply, if it gets too hot, due to high power draw (high load on cpu, gpu, or something like that) and higher ambient temperatures (or damaged cooling while being transported) it could shut itself down to cool down and then restart by itself. But maybe I'm a bit presumptuous about power supply problems cause my last one hat malfunctions and restartet my pc randomly, which was due to damage done while being shipped to me. Finding the problem could be pretty though if this is the case. In my case I could take a psu from a friend to test it... But that's not everyone's case. pathtopower
You might need to change your power cables because each country have different power adapters plugins to the walls. You wrote you changed nations but did not change anything regarding hardware so go and buy a simple wall cable power adapter for your power supply unit. Worst case scenario go buy a whole new power supply from a pc shop in spain. That power supply unit from spain will also not work in the USA at all so make sure you put your original psu from the us somewhere safe. Eupraxia
Also, you could just check that all the hardware is connected properly. RAM, GPU, power cables etc.

pathtopower
I found this. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/289612-28-bringing-computer-europe Kinda explains that in the usa, we use a 110 volt/120 volt while in europe they use a 220/230/240 volt.
