goranpaa
Is'nt it strange that you can buy and find apples at quite many places but not a single apple tree to see? Or are all the apples imported from Cyrodiil? I do hope that some modder will create a mod that makes Skyrim have some of those trees.
DoctorKaizeld
Or are all the apples imported from Cyrodiil?not sure if from Cryodiil, but based on the climate of Skyrim yes the apples are more then likely imported... though i dont see all of them being imported as i own an apple orchard in real life that is in a climate similar to several locations in Skyrim. though it should be pointed out the ground isnt great for growing crops which is why the farms are all really small. so who knows maybe they cant grow there. or maybe Bethesda was to lazy to be bothered to make them. Tamira
Here was an apple tree resource for old Skyrim: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15108/?Sadly the author's permissions are very restricted ("You must get permission from me") and he was not seen on the Nexus for more than four years. :(

Hi. Yes, this could very likely be as you say. But as the climate in Skyrim is pretty close to the Scandinavian, I belive that it would be possible to grow Apple trees around the Whiterun hold, and the Rift at some parts at least. I can see some interesting plants to be grown from that resource in Skyrim besides the Apple trees.

Of coarse I should be able to add them. Btw, I added the Apple trees and the Blueberry bush. Such berries could also be a natural part of the Skyrim flora. Thanks for the tips.
