RipCityOR
This is an issue with having too many plugins to the point that the game gives you false corrupted saves. The usual way around it is to quit and reload skyrim. BUT here is the fix: SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin)https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230 This is from the mod page "MaxStdio (default: true) - Raises max file handle limit from 512 to 2048, which should fix "False Save Corruption" bug in most cases." Try it.
Zymandis
From what I have been able to surmise of this if your saved game exceeds 10MB, at any time, no matter what you do all saves will show up as corrupted after some time in-game. Even if you do not do anything else. This may not entirely be a Mod issue, but having more mods means larger size of the save game. EDIT: If anyone here is facing the issue, you will need two fixes, 1. Engine Fixes SSE2. XPMSSE script fix For me It was XPMSSE that was causing the game to give a false corrupt save flag to my saves in game after some time. Also disable the Cloak Spell in XPMSSE's MCM. KatarinaMoonGoddess
Kk so I've started having the same problem. & the only three mods I have/had in common are immersive citizens, relationship dialogue, & alternate start. However I didn't have any issues until I put alternate start on. I got rid of it so hopefully that was the problem. I normally use real of lorkhan, but had switched to alternate start. I am back to using the realm of lorkhan so hopefully that will fix it for me. I hadn't gotten very far on my character so I only had 2 saves. But its still really frustrating because I had finally gotten my FNIS & SKSE to work. I'll let everyone know if it helped after a day or two. KikasPT
Hello guys,I realize this is an old tread but since there are some users still posting here in 2021, I thought I would leave my experience.I have recently faced myself with this issue and read trough this post to see what could be done to fix it (thank you for all the awsome information guys!).All that took to solve my issue was:1 - A correct instalation of SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin) https://www.nexusmod...tion/mods/17230;I had fogotten to install part 1 and thus, my SKSE was buggy, this was, like the tread says, visible in the message box of npc's and such. Please make sure to install it correctly and check if the issue still persists prior to anything else. Also make sure to install this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170Even if you believe you already have it installed, install it again anyway.I hope this helps.Thank you again! djkais1807
Hello, I got a similar problem, i can load games when I start the game, but in midgame saves are corrupt and every book I pick up and read directly is empty, but when I read it in my inventory its not empty. Maybe SSE Engine Fixes is the answer but another problem is when i install SSE Engine Fixes i got Trampoline 187 Error. I read Every possible Fix for this error in the posts from SSE Engine Fixes and did every step from the sticky post. Nothing worked. Even with no mod installed I got the same error. that drives me crazy. is there another fix for my corrupted save bug than SSE Engine Fixes ? ElusiveBurn
I got to page 10 in this very long thread before realizing that I might have installed a badly ported or just plain OldRim Nexus downloaded mod. The mod in question for me was "Half Gloves" which didn't even work right because it was missing textures. I'm going to see if i can do a clean save and get rid of it from my current save, or else I loose about 30 hours of progress.
KroganCuddler
Okay, so I have read MANY pages of this thread, and tried a lot of available options. I have reinstalled (and followed directions to the letter) SSE engine fixes several times, installed the XPMSSE script fix, removed all mods in form 43, the works. I still keep getting this bug on new saves. I have a lot of esls, but not more than would work, and about 220 esps. I use MO2, and when i rollback to previous load orders, it's working fine. It's once I start installing new lands mods and more complicated companions that the bug appears. For example, prev load order has Beyond Skyrim: Bruma in it, works fine. Once I install wyrmstooth and Wardens of the coast, it pops up. Previous load order also runs fine with mostly frivolous followers, esls that don't have any real dialogue or story. Once I start adding Lucien, Kaidan, Vilja, Inigo, Lucifer the argonian follower... It stops working. I don't think it's any of these in specific causing the problem, as different combinations of them seem to work. I just can't use all of them at once without this bug popping up. I don't really have an idea of where to go from here, but hopefully someone else is able to use this information to point me or other people in the right way
