lethielnyrond
You've all gone quiet. Was that such a fatuous suggestion that none of you know what to say, has the discussion moved elsewhere, or are you waiting for me to come up with a figure? There must be a way of sussing this out. What people can do, people can undo. I will try and count incidences of text if you think it's worth it, or message Arthmoor or somebody if you like, but I refuse to believe this is something we just have to put up with. Come on, chaps. We're all intelligent people here. We can do this. Lethiel
Ramagast
I think that messaging the experienced modders like Arthmoor can be a good idea.I've tried to play a session without Alternate Start as some quest mods had a bad reaction with it in the past, but nope, nothing changed. I've also thought something can be wrong with my system, so I've updated my video card drivers and re-installed Adobe Flash Player (well, menus and dialogues are the .swf files, so I wanted to be sure). Currently nothing helps. What interesting is that the game is very stable otherwise. No stutter, sudden fps drops. CTD, etc. I see two bugs from Oldrim: sometimes NPC's telling their one-liners without moving their lips and eating/drinking animations have a tendency to stop abruptly and start over. Both bugs were quite harmless and well known in Oldrim.
lethielnyrond
Okay, I've written to Arthmoor. Not sure whom else to try. Lethiel

LeagacyofMorrorwind
1 out of 5 times i got the fake corruption when i mass crafted armor and weapons. So bug still there i avoid crafting now and just play so long the game works.
TheMadTemplar
I don't necessarily think it's crafting. I've played some sessions without doing any crafting at all and it still does the bug.
Ramagast
I believe that crafting does these things:- you scroll through a lot of items to render in a short time- you get an increasing number of dialogue boxes- your inventory changes a number of times Now, dialogue boxes are easily tested. Use a lot of configuration powers, change a lot of options. It usually happens in the beginning of the game. I had some breaks there, so it's a solid theory. Each time we interact with flash-based GUI it has a cumulative chance of breaking. I do like that theory more, because the thing that breaks is the the thing interacted with. Inventory changes... well, It's tested by putting some item in one container and removing it. Seems to soooometimes produce a break in my case. Can be written off as GUI interaction or as character state. Finally, loading a lot of models... well, unless there is something very specific in these models in particular, it doesn't seem to be a case. Running very fast through a lot of populated locations does not expedite the break (or so it seems). In any case, I don't see what can we do with all this stuff. LeagacyofMorrorwind
Some of the fake corruption is related to crafting for me see the 5 house building mods and when i tested the mass crafting things. Both time i got fake corruption but it still seems ramdom if it corrupts or not. Thats now the only 2 times my game had the fake corruption both crafting related. But yes on my last install it was also happening when i did not craft anything. And i dont think we can do anything with this info.I just save before i craft anything and if it corrupts i delete the save and try again. It works for now. lethielnyrond
Well, if we can't do anything with it, we could maybe try and find someone who can. I don't craft that much, but I do find it annoying when I want to tell a follower to do something and the option disappears, or when I come home and the kids just keep repeating "You're back! You're home!", or when I can't read a message box. Yes, I can stop, save, quit, restart, every couple of hours, and it has been a useful reminder to me not to spend all day with my head in the game, but I'd rather not have to keep doing that. Does anyone have any suggestions for other mod gurus I could contact? Lethiel
Ramagast
I'd say Chesko, EnaiSiaion and expired6978 are our best bets. They are modding the game on some really deep level. Back in Oldrim, meh321 was extremely helpful and dedicated to eradicating deep game problems, but he works with SKSE and didn't make the jump to SSE yet.
