SubjectProphet Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 Recently I downloaded the mod for the dark menu textures, and it was working fine. Now I can;t see anything when I run Obliivon. Deleting all my mods didn't work either. Basicly my health bar and stuff appears but my picture is completly dark. I've tried everything, readjusting my settings for textures, brightness, even fast traveling, but it keeps appearing black so I can't play. Help, please? Rennn Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) All I can think of is that you installed it incorrectly, since it affects so few things in the game a conflict doesn't seem likely, but if you haven't already, try contacting the creator of the mod directly via private message. They'll have a better understanding than anyone. No offense to you, I'm just not aware of many possibilities of what could cause this besides a bad install. You could also try going to desktop via control panel without exiting the game, then going back into the still-opened Oblivion, also through the control panel. I don't think it'll help, but it's easy and harmless to try, and it's fixed a black screen on other games before. You might want to try copying off your Oblivion.ini file and letting it get recreated just to make sure. I would be interested in hearing if you find a solution. The dark textures to the mods completly destroyed my brightness and stuff like that, so I simply reinstalled the game and that worked. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
