bananakillerBRO
I'm trying to preview items in The GECK, specifically NPCS, but the GECK keeps crashing. What's causing this?
Mktavish
Try opening their face advanced tab first. Then go back to one of the other tabs to check the "Preview Full" And when editing ... click Ok closing the NPC window , then save the file ... instead of switching the tabs. ElfyPers0n
Try temporarily renaming your textures and meshes folders to something else so the GECK doesn't read them. I've had this happen before, with weapons instead of NPCs.
JoKelly
also remove ENB from your data folder, if you use it, that was what caused it for me. recently Dubious posted something he found and I tried, go into GECK custom.ini andeither add or change [Audio]bEnableAudio=1 tobEnableAudio=0 change that and add the 4gb installer to GECK and Geck becomes very stable compared to its usual spit in your face and fall over dead or at least it did for me also add the 4gb patcher- http://www.ntcore.com/files/4gb_patch.zip just make a copy of GECK.exe before you do it just in case. aethercrow
I keep having this same problem! None of the replies on this thread have helped though and I haven't been able to find a solution anywhere...
