Reavor
ok so im a total nub with the oblivion cs and ive been trying to load a mod in the cs so i can change the values of some armor. im trying to turn a heavy armor light and change the weight but im having some difficulties with it (loading it so i can edit). If someone can give me some instruction then i would be very happy. To be more specific i case it makes a difference im trying to change the armor in alex scorpion's sneaking suits. Changing the adamantium suit to light and decreasing its weight. :thanks:
worm82075
How much memory are you working with first of all? And secondly have you made the mod you are trying to alter the active file?

crazydave
Do u mean the size of the esp file? (if so then its 40kb).. and im sorry i dont understand the second part of ur question.I get the feeling you've never used the CS before, but everyones got to start somewhere. I dont have any tutorial links, so Ill walk you through it. To load a mod, click on "file" in the top corner then click on "data". From here you can sellect the mods to load by checking the box next to them. The "active file" is the mod where your work will be saved. Any other files you sellect will just be loaded, but not changed. From here you may need a basic CS tutorial, but there are some people who claim to have figured it out for themselfs
Reavor
yes u are correct, ive never used the cs before this. after ive loaded it do i need to go somewhere specific to alter modded items or will it just be under "items" or "armor" or something like that? crazydave
First you need to find the armor in the object window(the window on the left). Click on "items" then "armor". From here it all depends on where the auther put it, so you may need to brouse a bit. Once you find it, double click on it and it should bring up a window where you can edit the stats, name, and other stuff. After you get the stats how you want them, save the file and enjoy.
