Who am I? I'm an old fart,I'm a recluse,I have brain damage. I didn't grow up with computres and this stuff is giving me fits.My first question is, when im installing a mod and it requires that I download and install a file where do I put that file?

the answer to your question ,will depend on

-> how you have installed NMM or how your |game| install is configured.

-> if you have NMM setup with the virtual partition on a removeable flash-drive/terabyte drive, ensuring that the game install path is also on that same drive.

 

you can have the virtual partition part in the steam -> games -> |game name| area,

or in your user.pathway -> my document ->games ->|game| virtual etc... I've seen both of those kinds of set ups work.

it depends how you went.

 

you then have to change a .config ini to enabled mod mode yada yada.

there's a few nexus tutorials on Youtube which show you rather than one old fart blindly leading the other, with words hehe.
