Crimsomrider
SOLVED! Meshes have SEGMENTS and they're sort of like records inside a mesh that tell it how to behave in the engine. Once I deleted the segments I didn't need (using Outfit Studio), the meshes correctly started showing. Hi there, for my next mod I wanted to make a fully customizable Assaultron armor. I imported the individual meshes onto the body, I weighted them all and applied them to the body. As I always do. However, when I look at it ingame, for some reason the other half of all meshes are simply not there. If you want to take a closer look at the mesh, you can download it from my Google Drive : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2zhs7fBNA-EWG5QSE56YnhXcW8 NIFSKOPE VIEWER / CREATION KIT PREVIEWER http://i.imgur.com/c0AX2q7.png INGAME http://i.imgur.com/lvWhHea.jpg I don't know why it decided just to show these pieces. Does anyone have any clue as to why these meshes refuse to 'work' ?
Ethreon
Can you link the piece?
Crimsomrider
Can you link the piece? Yeah, figured someone would like to take a closer look ^^ https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2zhs7fBNA-EWG5QSE56YnhXcW8
Ethreon
I've looked at it, but all faces seem to be correctly oriented. No idea what is causing that.
Crimsomrider
Ah well, thanks for checking it out  Such a shame, could have done some great things with the idea :'( Gonna put it into an archive and come back to it some other time. Perraine
Check to make sure there are no decals or blood/dirt stains being overlayed onto that mesh by the game, I've noticed that several meshes have scripts associated with them to run various overlays. Also open the armor in Outfit Studio and make sure all vertices are weighted ("mask weighted vertices" from the menu) that can sometimes show errors. I've also had a similar issue with one of my mods. I used the wasteland winter coat mesh as a base, but for some reason, in game, it always shows with a huge piece missing out of the left bicep. I figured I'd go back to it and figure out what was wrong eventually.
Crimsomrider
This has been solved guys.
