WANTED: Modding Team/Think Tank for new FULL Dwemer mod.

Just wanted to suggest that just because there isn't a lot of interest in this thread is no reason to give up and kill the mod! If your idea is solid and you know it, you can look elsewhere for a team. Spec out the skill set you need and look on other sites to find people who work in 3D or games. If the story is good, you have a solid artistic idea, and the scope of the project is actually feasible, you can find people.

Problem is: I are a total nub in modding, alone, I could not pull this of.

No people helping = no mod being made.

 

However, there are 2,5 great souls that offered assist, for which I am very thankful.

 

Perhaps things will come lose after the preview-release of the Hold.

seems like a good idea but as you have no idea of modding the project will be very hard to undertake. other people could make the content/interiors/sounds but you will probably have to place it all together and develop a good arranging system eg mesh folder and files etc. i would reccomend trying to make some of your own weapons first. a project like this will more thank likely only put you down as you will try to do it all at the same time. secondly a project of this size will take you years to make so be prepared

I am quite sure that we all can work together and put it together together.

 

I have a LOT of trust towards the people working with me, we are equal, one, and we are quite capable, I think, to work out differences in an adult, smart way.

 

So...

We will eventually get there, and maybe it is not easy, the hard things can be overcome, right? ;)

With Regards to the Lore available regarding the Dwemer, How much is first hand? I'm not well versed in lore, But from a demonstrated psychological perspective a feeling of perceived inferiority could create a skewed view of the Dwemer, Or in the case of the High Elves outright propaganda with the intention of deterring other races from seeking a technological prowess. I'm not looking to get bashed but any Lore savvy out there that could clarify for my self and the sake of this and any other team seeking to revive or revisit the Dwemer would be appreciated. My thoughts are that they could have a dramatically different cultural presence then whats history has presented, considering it is written by those currently in power, there may be a "justified" reason for the Falmer such as Special assassins altered/created by the Elves to "fix" a problem. I can help here in a small way. I've posted this in other Dwemer threads and I've used it myself for my quest mod.

 

If you go to http://www.rinkworks.com/namegen/, simply copy/paste

Sorry for the late response: I was cleaning out V24, and trust me, there is a massive amount to be deleted.
