I might know what the problem is. It happened to me. The house you built, did you create it in the MEGATON cell? If so, EVEN though you can see the outside of megaton from the megaton cell, you must build the house in a WASTELAND cell. The game must recognize the house as in the wasteland, not in megaton.

Q u maybe on to something i just checked it, it was in the megaton cell! ok ill relocate the home and see if tht works, if it does ill upload the player made home to the fo3 nexus, it may be a while yet as i am gonna restart from scratch, as well as im a perfectionist, personally i HATE clipping issues!

qenosa and others, my problem STILL persists, i tried moving my home outside of the megaton cell to the wasteland cell, still nothing is showing up in game.

 

i cant even tell u how pissed off i am about this, my geck works fine with new vegas like my stuff shows up in game.

 

Fo3 Goty retail version, bought and paid for.

 

could the goty be the issue?

 

EDIT: new geck app and did update..does nothing... same problem

Shouldnt be the GOTY edition. That shouldnt matter. Have you checked the properties on the shack, did you possibly check "initially disabled"?

 

I would find a similar shack in the GECK and make sure the options match up.

Seriously, upload the file to http://www.mediafire.com/ - you don't even need an account, just drag and drop, copy the link it creates and paste it in a post here.

 

Then we'll be able to see if there's anything actually wrong with the file. If it's okay, we can move onto general PC setup.

Well, that's the damnedest thing. It throws an error when loading in the Geck...

 

Checking in fo3edit, the File Header Version gives 1.34. All my other mods have 0.94

 

You're using Fallout 3 GOTY (v 1.7) and GECK 1.5 (and not the New Vegas version), yes?
