trroyyc
So on my new playthrough, I've been running with Danse for 'bout a couple hours. He gave me his speech at Fort Strong about brotherhood ideals and how he's sorry for pushing me so hard, and then just a couple hours later (like maybe 4, tops) I was working on some power armor when I got the notification that he "idolizes me". How is this possible? There was no he adores you, he admires you, just the idolizes you. And to my knowledge, you need to complete Blind Betrayal before he'll idolize you. When his affinity dialogue came up when I talked to him, it was the affinity dialogue I was supposed to get- about how he's scared that he'll lose me like he did Cutler. Did I break the game? Wasn't it supposed to say that he admires me or adores me before it said he idolizes me? I haven't completed Blind Betrayal; haven't even started it. I'm not even to the Institute yet, I'm supposed to find Virgil. I'm running a couple mods, none of which would effect it to my knowledge.
genolune
I'm not sure, but I thought you could reach idolized state before Blind Betrayal but you wouldn't get his perk until the quest or something like that. Sometimes the admire/adore/idolize either fails to pop up or you miss it in battle. It's quirky at times.

This is odd considering I swear it said idolize but other than that, there's no issues. Just a little pop-up text got switched around... Or I read it wrong.
