I am loosing my mind with this game.

While that was a short try ... Boss does not support 64 bit Binaries, at least that is the warning I get in MO when I tried to start Boss?

So since it appears that I can not use Boss instead of Loot in Mod Organizer, does any one have suggestion for a load order for the mods I use? ( Active Mod list is in my opening post. ) Or any thing that might help me finally play FO3 without crashing so fast?

Some times it takes a mack truck to hit you before you realize whats going on. only 1 single version of Mo is set to use 64bit Binaries and that version is incorrect for use in this game.

Don't try to use BOSS in MO. It is not a mod, but a tool to sort your load order.

You would just run the BOSS v2.1.1 Installer.exe.

Once you have it installed, just start it using the icon you placed on your desktop. It is a run once and done. The only other time you would need to use it would be when you install another mod.

There is a load order template toward the bottom of the FWE description page you can use as a guideline.

Remember, compatibility patches must load after the last mod that is being patched.

In your LOOT generated load list you will see that Blackened is not correct. None of the FWE plugins are in the correct order, among other wrongly placed plugins.

Well if you are aware of a method for Boss to recognise mods installed for FO3 from inside MO ... while not using MO then please tell me? Because according to this information ...

http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#Third_Party_Programs ( go to "10 Third Party Programs" if it does not show up. )

Boss needs to be started from inside MO in order to recognise mods installed from inside MO. ( And that appears to be impossible for me since I have Windows 8.1 )

May I ask a question here?

what version of Mo are you running for this game to begin with?

Nothing is impossible if done correctly.

I am using MO version 1.3.11 for both FO3 and for Skyrim. I installed it separately in ...

E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\

and for Skyrim in ...

E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\

And I am the only one using this computer so I have an admin account.

what link was used for the Boss installer.

The only way Mo would report a message like that is if you tried to run a 64bit binary program thru it on a 32bit game OR you ran Mo .2 the very latest version of Mo which IS a 64bit binary application and tried to run a 32bit program that takes over the operations of the master program it's installed in. Still on a 32bit game. IT's the virtual folder application that is set also as 64bit.

your screen shot shown a 32bit application and it's reporting an error running a 64bit binary? Boss.."is it" supporting 64bit now?

This is the shot you provided:

2hz_TJBX.jpg

Which is clearly a 32bit app. The only way you might generate an error as you reported is if you tried that version of Mo on Fallout 4 a 64bit game...No way would boss generate that message on or in a 32bit program as it is 32bit too.

OR...some how you clicked on the wrong item by mistake.

After looking at the GUI of boss ..? Yuk! Horrible, so to give you even better advice ..use this instead (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/ajax/downloadfile?id=1000020909)

and I'll throw in the template for it too when you need to update it's master lists.

But.Boss ? I don't know, it used to look a lot better..it might be my browser "firefox" too, all I know is just yuk.

----------------------

IF you install Fomm? that program will write out a new folder in the games main folder called "Install Info", these template go into there extracted.

when Fomm asks to update, it will use these instead and were at the time the very last updates for it's use.

Fomm, has other tools too, a lot more BANG !! for your Buck. Just don't try to link into the nexus through it, there is no nexus support for that, to use it and it's tools only, do not download mods thru it. Download manually...but fomm works much better inside Mo.

Thank you very much for all the help and information so far Purr4me.

By using the 32 bit binaries for Boss I finally got Boss working in MO, and it came up with this load order ...

Active Mod Files Not completely sorted yet:

00 Fallout3.esm
01 Anchorage.esm
02 ThePitt.esm
03 BrokenSteel.esm
04 PointLookout.esm
05 Zeta.esm

07 aHUD.esm
08 iHUD.esm
09 CRAFT.esm
0A CALIBR.esm [Version 1.4]
0B Project Beauty.esm
0C FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm
0D Mart's Mutant Mod.esm

27 PureWater-LittleRad-.esp
28 UUF3P - FWE Patch.esp
29 MME Relentless Warrior Perk.esp
2A Cheatboy.esp
2B Start Almost Perfect.esp

But these plugins where not reckognized ...

Personally I doubt that those marked with green matter where they are placed, so I should be able to leave them after all other mods but before the new Merged Patch I will have to make. Since the load order from LooT in my OP is totally different, I am not 100% sure if I placed those in red in the correct place. ( Although I did not see a warning in Wrye Flash.) Would this be a good new load order?

The spoiler tag looks to be rock solid. the other items ? lol

I want you to realize you can use both types with Mo, one will not overwrite the other and mo will respond to either one .

The fomm tool and template should encompass all mods.

open the templates and please view them in Notepad ++ so you can read things as the system will read them.

Now, if there are mods not listed within the templates, I can add them after a study of the contents before hand.

Mod Organizer version best suited for this task is this one.

Fomm will sort the Undead mod listed it did not know about.
