rotwhip Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 essentially whats going on is that i enter the riften jail to do a quest, and i crash about 4 seconds past the load door. i actually get in the cell enough to look around for a little bit, and then it crashes afterwards. i can pause the game and postpone the crash for a good while, but the second i un-pause, i crash out. sometimes i can walk all the way up to the second door by the guard, but i can never go past that. additionally, i can get myself arrested and get in that way, but that changes nothing. from what i understand, its not a riftenjail01 cell issue, but something wrong with something IN the jail that i cant figure out... snelss0 Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 1. Your USSEP should go right after dragonborn.esm and should go above your .esms2. You should not use massive NPC overhauls like cutting room floor, Immersive/Enhanced/Unique NPCs or anything like that, or any other city location editing mod with large city editing mods unless they specifically mention they are compatible.3. Brawl Bug Fix should go lower in your load order. Your crash also may be due to some existing script causing conflicts. Maybe you moved/altered/deleted a mod on this current save and the game is searching for that baked in information and can't find it. In that case, try to replicate the crash on a new game. If it doesn't replicate, then it is your saved game that has the issue. If it does, then it is a conflict in the location probably, a memory issue, or with one of your mods. If you aren't already, make sure you are using an skse.ini file. It helps with memory allocation and it wouldn't hurt to check out the Crash Fixes mod if you haven't. rotwhip Posted January 2, 2017 Author Share Posted January 2, 2017 well for starters, its consistent on older characters too, and USSEP is where its at for another reason that im not really getting in to, its a mess if its not. i can try a memory patch, but ill get to that in a sec, everything is right as it is straight out of loot, but i suppose i can move some stuff around too, im not quite looking for load order maintenance, and im 99.99% sure this isnt related to the brawl bug fix : :tongue: i assume by big city editing mods you mean OCS? because if so wouldnt that no have an effect as the riften jail is an interior cell with the only link to OCS being the load door? aditionally, immersive NPCs is compatible with both cutting room floor AND OCS, so i doubt that would be an issue Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
