CTD when entering The Bee and Barb in Riften.

Hello.

 

I started a new game the other day and made my way to Riften, now when i tried to enter the local tavern Bee and Barb my game crashed to desktop. Anyone have/had the same problem and been able to fix it?

• Turn off every mod you got. Only the mods that require you click on em.
• Start a new game and go to the door of bee and barb.
• Make a save game. This will be your clean save.
• Click the first mod in the list and load your game, make sure you save your game and turn off autosave.
• Walk into the inn, if you don't crash. Turn off the game and click on the next mod and reload your clean save.
• Repeat this until you crash. Have fun. :smile:

This process works all the time. It is long and tedious but it has been proving to work in almost 99% of the time. The main factors are mod conflicts and because each mod load order is different for every mod users. What works fine with Mod A with user A will most likely CTD with user B because user B uses Mod F that runs in conflict with Mod A. And the 2 mod creators of Mod A and Mod F have never tested their mods for lack of compatibility issues.

 

Just be careful loading a s*** ton of mods. When you load a freaking mod, test it 1 at a time and see if you get any ctd, from entering inns, fighting mobs in dungeons. This way you will build a load order of mods if you build a solid foundation on mods that does not go in open conflict with one another.

I am still crashing when entering the Bee and the barb. No mods. I restarted as well.

 

Anyone got any way to fix this? Is there any way to progress the quests with any command? Sick of crashing!
