IAmDarkPhoenix
I was searching the forum for this one to see if anyone else has ever had this issue. For some reason this spell doesn't work for me. My mage goes through the motions but nothing happens. What's the best way to see if any mods are conflicting with this spell? Only thing I have so far is that the spell ID is 400110.
LadyHonor
The surest way to figure it out is to remove all of your mods and begin adding them back one by one and trying it out in the game. Of course that can take quite a while depending on how many you have installed.

I have an embarrassing amount of mods so I am hoping there's another way like looking up the spell Ids or something

Of course that can take quite a while depending on how many you have installed. So after manually uninstalling all my mods (all 3rd party downloadable content and removing the mods in the override folder), it still didn't work. However here's the strange part. As an experiment, I created a new character in Awakening and add the Repulsion Field and guess what... .. it works. Even with all the mods added back in. I tried in Origins again, but it still doesn't work (even after making my Wizard level 22).Is it only supposed to work with Awakening??
theskymoves
Repulsion Field is an Awakening talent, and shouldn't even appear in Origins for save being modded in somehow. (Ditto all other DAA talents, skills, and specializations). If you are consoling the talent into DAO, then you will also need to add the DAA assets that define the talent, so the game can find them. (DAO doesn't 'see' or use files for Awakening natively.)

This is only a guess but would be through the addins.xml? EDIT: Never mind. I just figured it out  .. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
