  1. Can you update your Skyrim AE to latest version if you used the extension to allow vortex to manage your creation club content without having to reinstall everything?
  2. I'm having the same issue. Doing a clean install of my drivers didn't help. Out of curiosity, are you using nvidia graphics? Just trying to figure out if it's a windows issue or nvidia.
  3. I've built a house outside of Riften's city walls. The house is heartlhfire compatible. Everything works fine, kids move to the house, do their chores, whack the dummy, etc....they just won't play in the yard. When I ask them to play a game, they run off to the city and play there. Is there a way to prevent them from doing that? I've tried everything, but they won't stay out of the city. When the game is over, they go home. They uses the outdoor idles just fine.

  5. There is a user I wish to gift with a premium membership, but the Gift icon doesn't appear on his profile and I've noticed that it is the same on other accounts. Some you can gift. Some you can't. Is there a reason for this or an optional way I can do it?

  7. I have made a morph for Lydia that I would like to use. It works fine as far as showing the game as it should. No dark face bug. No missing textures. Everything looks alright....EXCEPT she is always scowling, the squinted eyes and pursed lips is ruining my morph. Is there anything I can do to change the way she....I dunno....holds her face? LOL She ALWAYS looks like she wants to take someone's head off.

  9. Pretty much what the topic says. When it rains or snows, it only does it in one direction. I have Cathedral Weather, Diverse Seasons, and Improved Fog & Rain For Cathedral installed, no ENB. I have been using these mods for quite a while with no issues, so this is new. I haven't recently installed any mods that affect weather or lighting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It's a little annoying when it's only raining on half my screen. Thanks in advance! LH
  10. Actually I went to a modder who had done the same thing for his player homes and asked him how he did it and he offered to let me use his. I get that it doesn't help me in the long run to learn how to do it myself, but that's what sharing resources is for. anyway, my hair is white enough. as my grandkids would tell you, i was old when dirt was young. lol

I guess I don't really know how to ask what I'm talking about......I make my own statics of the items I want to use by copying the link to the mesh (?) in the edit box and then using that model for my displays. I haven't had any problems with that except for the maps. When I look at what it links to in the edit window, it's just a folded piece of paper.
  12. Wouldnt they need meshes too tho? Converting to dds is easy enough, but wouldnt I need an actual mesh for it? I know nothing about how to make those.
  13. I have built a player home and the only thing I have left to do is add displays for the treasure maps, but I can't find the statics to them any where. They are considered book items, but the item is a folded piece of paper. I need the ones with the actual printed on it. I would really appreciate if someone could tell me where to find them. Thanks in advance.
  14. I want to put the child's practice dummy outside, but when I do that, the Hearthfire Multiadoption spell doesn't recognize it. It works fine in the house, but even though the exterior cell is the parent of the interior cell, HMA doesn't detect the dummy outside. It's a small house for only two kids and not really enough room for a practice dummy indoors. Is there are way to make it work?

If my follower is standing behind me, when I use the camera to take screenshots, he's not there......it's a follower i made so i'm sure i screwed up somewhere because it doesn't happen with other followers.....but i've searched and cant' find anything about this bug. any suggestions how to correct this would be great.

  18. When that happens it's usually because a mod is using the vanilla module_core script instead of either selecting "none" if a module script isn't necessary or using a custom core script.
  19. Are you trying to edit the vanilla script or writing your own? I highly advise against editing anything vanilla, especially scripts. Soooo....with that said....what I suggest doing is using PRCSCR and plot flags instead. It's much cleaner, won't break anything beyond repair, and will prevent it from conflicting with any other mods. PRCSCR xls/gdas use area lists instead of area resource names unless the area isn't on an area list and i *think* most of the areas in orzammar, it is likely that the two different areas you want to use are on an area list along with a few other areas on the same lists, so in your script you're going to have to check for a valid object in the area you want to use....i usually just use the area resource name.   20. I've built a player home that i've made compatible to the HF Multiple Adoption mod. Almost everything works. Casting the spell marks it as my home with the correct number of beds. My spouse shows up to the right house and sleeps in the correct bed. The kids show up at the house and sandbox as they are supposed to. The only problem is they will not play with me. I'm sure part of it is they think I'm a horrible mother or something but I'm equally certain there is a step I am missing some where.....but I have gone through the steps included with the HFMA mod several times. Everything appears to be correct. I've cleaned the mod several times. I've used a clean save that is unmodded and imported into my modded profile and the kids just won't play. I ask them to play a game and they get all excited and tell me "sure" and then just stand there....or run off to an idle marker. Speaking of idle markers, the only ones they are using in the exterior area are sweeping markers. They don't use the practice dummy or the play in the dirt markers. I suppose it's a little redundant to say they won't use the hide and seek marker since I've already said they won't play.....but they aren't using those markers either. lol Any help would really be appreciated.

I've downloaded and installed dozens of houses and although all of them were great, none of them were exactly what i wanted.....sooooo i built one.....and for a first timer, i think it looks pretty good....BUT....there is a HUGE major flaw with it....not with the actual mod.....it's where i put it. LOL I put it....on purpose....right in the path of a dragon crash zone....literally....it is in it's direct path.....so i won't be sharing it. lol i can't wait to see what happens when the dragon hits it. :dance:
  22. I'm making a player home that is compatible with the HF multi-adoption mod. Everything works. Kids show up and follow the routines. Followers go to their rooms. Husband even shows up. BUT unless I use the My Home Is Your Home mod, he will not sleep in the bed. I get the Lover's Comfort perk, but I don't get no lovin' and that is totally unacceptable. lol I followed HFMA's directions in setting everything and I've checked and double checked everything, but nothing looks wrong. It's my first mod and I admit I don't really know what I'm doing here. So any help would *REALLY* be appreciated. Thanks. ***Resolved*** I missed the "LocationCenterMarker" .
