goranpaa
This happend today all the sudden. Whenever my character are going to sleep the game ctd when waking up. I have cleaned the save files. Mods sorted with LOOT. And the game worked perfectly until today as said.So it can't be any mod problem I think? Edited January 7, 2017 by goranpaa
pathtopower
Did you try loading a earlier save that is around 3-4 hours prior? Check if it just be a save corruption? Then start a new game and sleep to see if you can repeat the ctd.
goranpaa
Hi. Yes I did and that worked for about 30 minutes before this happend again. But I have found out that the game won't CTD if just sleeping 2 hours at the time. Any longer than that and....CTD! I begin to think that SSE is more crash prone with mods than the old Skyrim are. Maybe due to the lack of SKSE? You fix one problem and bang! another one start. I do not know if this have something to do with NMM or what? I'm not really fond of having the mods installed in the same folder as the game. That spell trouble for me at least. MO, was a lot better in my opinion. But do not work for me in SSE. Thanks for trying to help me out. Edited January 7, 2017 by goranpaa
strawbqwerty
I also believe that the new Skyrim is more prone to crash and burn than the old one. I had I need installed and that was giving me no end of grief. One thing you can do that I have found very help full. Enable papyrus log if you have not done so. Then you can check what was the very last lines where before it crashed. This has helped me oh so much.
goranpaa
Thanks for the great tip! I will enable that. I ended up starting a new character as I could'nt find the solution how much I tried. So far = after about 3 hours, the sleep funktion seem to work. But one never know for sure? If the game start to crash again? I will head back to old Skyrim until SKSE 64 is out. It's really a mayor pain to invest a lot of time making and equip a character and had come a couple of hours into the game when it suddenly start to give serious problems. I'm not totally sure of if the new single save file in SSE is that reliable either just like i said about NMM? But I bet my buck on that NMM is a bit unstable just like the ones for classic Skyrim. I hope there will soon be a better alternative for it. Wrye Bash is too complicated for me at least. Edited January 8, 2017 by goranpaa
