WaffleCheesebread
I'm getting a crash. At the Arlington National Bridge, following the water, or past it, or just as soon as I get there. "Fallout3 has stopped working", that kind of crash. I thought it was the Unofficial Patch issue but I modified the file and it didnt change anything. :( Fallout3.esmAnchorage.esmThePitt.esmBrokenSteel.esmPointLookout.esmZeta.esmUnofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esmHairday.esmCALIBR.esmFOOK2 - Main.ESMFOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.ESMEnhanced Weather - Rain and Snow.esmXepha's Dynamic Weather.esmUnofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Operation Anchorage.espUnofficial Fallout 3 Patch - The Pitt.espUnofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel.espUnofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Point Lookout.espUnofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Mothership Zeta.espAlternateStart.espUPP - Pack 1.espUPP - Pack 2.espFOOK2 - Main.espFOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.espFOOK2 - Main [Hotfix].espFOOK2 - DIK [Hotfix].espSlower Levelling - slow.espMissingUniqueArmorClothing-Base.espGNR Enhanced.espbzArmour.espbzBodySuits.espbzJocks.espEnhanced Weather - Rain and Snow in Fallout.espEnhanced Weather - REBOOT.espEnhanced Weather - Weather Sounds in Interiors.espEnhanced Weather - Sneak Bonus during Storms.espTheir World.espXepha's Dynamic Weather - Main.espXepha's Dynamic Weather - Rain.espXepha's Dynamic Weather - The Pitt.espXepha's Dynamic Weather - Broken Steel.espXepha's Dynamic Weather - Point Lookout.espLevel 1 Smallest More Color.espXepha's Dynamic Weather - Anchorage.espXepha's Dynamic Weather - Night Eye Edition.espXepha's Dynamic Weather - Anchorage (NEE).espXepha's Dynamic Weather - Rain (NEE).esp Total active plugins: 46Total plugins: 47 I will not be surprised if my load order is bad. <_<; Edited January 10, 2012 by Claeric
Jeoshua
Check out the Clean-Deluxe NV front page (in my sig under "new and improved for NV") There are instructions there on cleaning mods with FO3edit or FNVEdit. Clean TheirWorld.esp That might fix it. If it does not, try turning off FOOK2.
WaffleCheesebread
Actually, I saved near the area so I could test with different mods on and off and it just plain stopped happening. <_<; I have no idea.
Jeoshua
Oh geez, one of THOSE kind of crashes. Sometimes you will find a locational crash that is based on where the game was loaded. Usually has to do with the specific random seed that is saved with the game causing a random event to happen guaranteed at that place. If you save/reload the crash goes away, but the problem doesn't disappear permanently. In your mod list, the biggest mod and therefore the most likely to have some kind of problem is going to be FOOK2. It's not that FOOK2 is bugged... it's that it's super gigantic and beta. Therefore more likely to have something overlooked or incompatible. Personally I had to stop using it because of this. You're also using Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch... which is made for Fallout 3 version 1.1 not 1.7 (which you should be patched up to by now). This can lead to all sorts of trouble. I'm sure you're aware of this but if not, now you are.
Fonger
You're also using Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch... which is made for Fallout 3 version 1.1 not 1.7riddle me this if UFP is written for 1.1 only then why does it have patches for all the DLC or to rephrase what version of F3 can possibly run all the DLC Therefore the 1.1 is an obvious typo in the description. CloudLamda
Wow, someone else has the same exact problem in the same exact place! Happens when I come out of the Citadel and cross the metal bridge next to the Raider camp underneath the Arlington Bridge. I'm pretty sure it's mod related causing the game stress... Still trying to fix it at the moment though D:
