Dheuster
So I made a mod that allows fine grained control over what female followers wear. Similar to other mods, only I match up clothing to NPCs personalities and I include a "Birthday Suit" item. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5681 The mod itself doesn't actually come with any textures. It comes with an edited nif file, based originally on the female steel armor. I simply used Nif Skope to select and remove the armor, exposing the defacto Barbie doll model + skin underneath. If a user has installed a nude texture upgrade, the birthday suit will allow the user to see it. However, if they haven't, they will see the defact nude skin that comes with the game. It has no detail and reminds me of a barbie doll. So the question is: Does the mod and the "birthday suit" consitute nudity? A picture of a barbie doll with no clothes on... would that be considered adult content on the internet? Personally I feel like I should be able to remove the adult content flag from my mod, but I thought I would put the question to the forums and see what other modders think. Sunnie
According to the site rules, anything that is considered NSFW (you wouldn't want to be caught looking at it at by your HR Director or a co-worker) needs to be flagged as adult content. The rule has a little more detail that that, but thats the short version. I think its safe to say that If you are completely removing all clothing in your mod, it doesn't matter how detailed the textures are or arent, it's still nude and adult content. elvinkun
I believe that it's not Adult content, the fact it may lead to nudity when combined with other mod and imagination doesn't count. Everything would be "AC" then.As far as barbie body goes, no idea. I'd say no, but seeing the development around the world, I wouldn't bet on it, haha. Edit: As to above, I wouldn't really consider it nudity, the body with underwear might actually be more "erotic" than the one without it. And technically, any game by itself is NSFW. Ok, that's a bit "aaah". Edited January 10, 2012 by elvinkun
huntsman2310
Things like full-on breasts, nipples, female or male genitalia. Basically stuff that you'd be looking at privately.
Dheuster
Hmm.. I believe I have a solution. If I replace the default nude texture with a texture that contains a bikini... then even when people use my mode to remove the "armor", they wont see anything offensive. (Possibly more erotic, but not offensive). Of coarse if a user decides to install a nude mod AFTER my mod, they will just clobber the texture and the birthday suit will become more revealing. I think this is the best way to go. Thanks to those that gave me their 2 cents.
cppcooper
I think i would go with the NSFW explanation and add on context can help make it fit for work. If you have a barbie doll bent over a table with ken right up behind her, then the context is nsfw. However a model editor with just the arms and legs spread out would be much more safe for work, but you still probably wouldn't want to be caught by your 50 year old catholic manager looking at it. It is just a matter of courteously for those of us who frequent the forums while at work, and don't want to be opening something thinking it is 100% innocent.
