Faivon Posted January 8, 2017 Share Posted January 8, 2017 Spent the last few days reading guides here and there but still got CTD. Anyway, my problem is I constantly got CTD when I fast travel. Last time when I idle for 15 minutes, I also got CTD but usually when fast travel. My mods are pretty straightforward I think. Oh, I just did a clean re-install since my last installation is a mess and my saved game are from the old backup. snelss0 Posted January 9, 2017 Share Posted January 9, 2017 1. I would use the Unofficial High Res Patch if you are intent on using the High Res Textures.2. Move your FNIS and all animations to the bottom of your load order. They just work better there with your skeleton coming after them (usually xpmse). Make sure you have gender and skeleton arm fix boxes checked when you update your FNIS. If you aren't using a custom skeleton, I'd suggest it. Many mods may require or use it without mentioning it. Your order could be better like this at the end of it:FNIS[Animations]XPMSE[any mod LOOT puts after it.]3. If you are still experiencing CTDs, check out the Crash Fixes mod and do the changes he suggests on his mod page.4. If all else fails, something may have been corrupted. Delete your skyrim, update, dawnguard, hearthfires, and dragonborn .esms from your skyrim/data folder and then revalidate your cache. You will need to clean these mods again.5. Also, just because you mentioned you are using MO, just make sure that your left pane matches the right in load order. Also, make sure you understand how to handle your overwrite section. I'm sorry but I fail to understand what Crash Fixes mod do :(4. I actually did it before and still experiencing CTD5. Hmm, okay.. Should be quite simple. In the end, I found out what caused the CTD. It was Become King of Riverhelm mod! I deactivated it and now it runs well. Anyway, I dunno why my game is hard to accept new buildings mod. Tried River Leaf mod and I experience CTD now and then. snelss0 Posted January 15, 2017 Share Posted January 15, 2017 Maybe try a clean install? Perhaps something got corrupt. Apachii hair shouldn't be causing CTDs. Not sure about the other mentioned mods, but if you have some mods affecting that area or NPCs those mods may be touching with scripts it could cause CTDs As for crash fixes, just slowly read it.
