djole96
How do i install this then? Skyboost alone doesn't improve my performance but what to do with FSR? Copy it to SKSE/Plugins or make FOSE ??? It's annoying to play with 19-24 fps.

maboru
I left a request at skyranger-1's FONV Stutter Remover mod page to see if he could port it to Skyrim with SKSE but it appears he's been inactive (possibly just waiting for the CK as so many other modders are doing.) FYI- NVSR was broken after the final FONV patch but he did upload a compatible patch so it's back in the running there again.
myucka
Hi, I just dropped the fose file into my data folder. Nothing else. Like I said, this is something that worked for me. Mileage may vary. Here are the steps I took. 1. Uninstalled all mods, SKSE and then verified game cache through steam.2. Played skyrim on high settings and a few tweaks.3. Monitored my fps with Fraps.4. Installed Skyboost because TESVal didn't do too well.5. Uninstalled Skyboost and Installed the stutter remover. I noticed a significant difference in fps, but I still had many lagging spots.6. Left the stutter remover in and reinstalled skyboost. Voila! My fps doubled and stays pretty consistant throughout my playing. (3-4 hours) I would note that I am playing with my newest save game and I have not yet installed the mod that takes away weapons and nirnroot glows, so it is the biggest save file I have. I started adding mods, to see if any were particularly troublesome, but I have not had any problems so far. As a matter of fact after installing the Skyrim HD mod and then overlaying the Better Mountain Textures mod, I don't get stutters when looking at the mountains. I still get a couple of stutters here and there...normally when loading new cells, but it does not cause any problems with my playing. If it doesn't work for you, I'm sorry, but I hope it works for at least a few people...now I am playing Skyrim again. I had put it away for awhile until the 1.4 patch comes out, but this seemed to work magic for me. I wish I could be more help.
