supafuzz Posted January 11, 2012 Share Posted January 11, 2012 I chose Ulfric as I thought Skyrim would give me the choice to go double agent, and then stab both sides to the back becoming myself the king of Skyrim, establishing order, allying with the Empire by reasoning, and then lead the war against Thalmor. But uhh.. Yeah..right on, this is why i stayed the hell away from the whole thing.that's pretty much what i did in New Vegas: do the NCR quests alongside Yes Man's secretly to get rid of Mr House and then double-cross the NCR at the last moment. this is the kind of flexibility i'm hoping DLC will give us! since the whole dragon business felt pretty much like a joke after the main quest was done it would be killer to rule Skyrim on the back of Paarthurnax ;D it's a real dick-move to chop off the heads off everybody crossing the border but the guys are just taking orders and i figure it was pretty tense with Ulfric right there. they were still on the fence about the whole thing anyway. if you're playing a Nord or a character who doesn't know about the current events then it makes sense to escape with the Stormcloak guy but my character was Imperial so i stuck with my brosephs. i still don't really see why Ulfric got rid of Torygg other than to stir the sh*t. he wasn't the guy that signed the Concordat, and putting him away just makes the Legion weaker, not the Empire as a whole. after what happened in Hammerfell you'd think he would go straight for the Thalmor embassy or something but killing the High King just makes it seem like he has his own agenda going on and that this 'campaign' is just for his personal gain. Ulfirc killed Torygg to set an example. To show the Jarls what he was capable of, to show them his resistance is serious. It made the Legion weaker, yes, but also the Empire, because through Torygg, they had a grip on Skyrim. They lost it because of Ulfric killing the High King. It was really foolish Torygg (damn, that name is hard to type) accepted the duel, but I guess his pride got the better of him.And the Thalmor Embassy? I'm thinking I could roleplay a Stormcloak if I played a Thalmor agent working to weaken the Empire - it would go well with the DB quest line too. That only applies to white Nords.'tis sad, but this also applies to real life where only white people can be racists :\ absolutly, black people can do or say things extremely racists and its ok but a white person is inmediatly the worst guy or girl in earth for a minor thing, for instance that "professor" that said they need to exterminate white people and still black people defended him (!!!) and apparently they are "justified" and its not racist. As true and absurd as this is, how did we end up talking about this lol. Edit: just to clarify i dont like white racism at all im just saying it would be good if blacks and other races would also be considered racists when they do or say extremely racist things on a daily basis like all the time.
