cleric42au Posted March 22, 2008 Share Posted March 22, 2008 Ditto... have disabled all mods, even the 'official' ones, so I have pure 2nd patch Oblivion. Every level up... I get teh CTD too. My wife is getting it as well. Is this to do with having nvidia cards. I read, elsewhere that Oblivion/nvidia cards (especially newer cards) have issues. bben46 Posted March 22, 2008 Share Posted March 22, 2008 I use the Nvidia based XFX 7600 FX and have never seen this particular problem. Have you looked at the Nvidia board to see if it shows any known bugs for your card? Sometimes you can find a fix there. Either a new driver set or advice to go back to an older set. shademe Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Try un-installing and reinstalling any UI mods you may have. A source linked to a missing file also causes CTDs.
