PoorlyAged
The Site Forums section contains about 500 games. This list is un-ordered, and finding a particular game is oft times difficult. In as much as the code is open, is it possible to add a feature to bookmark specific games. If is this scope creep, please add this request to the list to be considered in the next release. Thanks for listening.
DrakeTheDragon
I can't recall the forums having any means to bookmark anything, apart from following/tracking individual topics or the like. But for what it's worth, you can search your game on the File Sites (https://www.nexusmods.com/), even add it to your favorite games list (http://www.nexusmods.com/games/users/favegames/) for future quick re-access, and from every game site there is you can click the "forums" button right on top to go to the individual game's forum section, the exact thing you are searching for here. edit: Oh, and for the records, the list actually is not un-ordered. The order is just the same in which the games got added to the network, neither alphabetical nor by any numbers, but still definitely ordered. Network speeds of 15-20 KILObits are the norm. Repeated rounds of searches makes finding what I am looking for untenable. Edit - Searching in any Forum does not give a list of subforums. It gives a list of posts. So searching is nor really an honest option. The favorite game list has a limit of eight games. That quantity is insufficient to my need. EDIT: The game entries in the "Favorite Games" do NOT take you to the subsection in the SITE FORUMS. This takes you to the MODS section for the selected game. At no point did I mention mods in my Request for Enhancement. This is not what I was talking about, I am talking about NEXUS Site Forum. That is why It says Site Forum in the title and in the message itself. Like the queue at the lunch counter or grocers, a FIFO stack is considered unordered as items arrive randomly and without precedence. Furthermore, the forum is a list of game titles and is considered unordered given that it is not in Game Title sequence. Finally, I was providing feedback and expressed a reasonable Request for Enhancement. I kinda dislike being summarily dismissed as though I was asking for something unreasonable. Edit - last one, I promise. I have bookmarked all of the subforums in NEXUS Site Forum in which I am interested using my browser. It is a long list, but I can manage it with the browsers facilities. It would still be nice to not have to do that and just click a bookmark button next to a forum and have it available in some favorites list. Come on, I should not have to use a separate tool to manage content on the Nexus? That is not reasonable. DrakeTheDragon
Well, I'm only volunteer moderation staff and in no way one making the decisions or capable of dismissing anybody's requests, so of course I didn't do that at all, and it also wasn't my intention. Believe it or not, but 90% of requests I see the people simply missed the feature is already available and just need telling them where it is and how to use it. So that's what I usually do first. In this case the first thing I said was that there definitely is no way to do what you're asking for as of right now, so your request definitely is a valid one, this time, for a change. Next, as the site is currently in feature lockdown during the large-scale file site redesign currently undergoing, what I was suggesting was simply that, a suggestion what to do in the meantime, as it will take quite some time now before further feature requests will be heard. And the suggestion is a valid one. From every "game" site there is, like http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/ , http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/ or http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/ , as listed on the front page http://www.nexusmods.com/ , you can go directly to their respective "site forums" section just by clicking the button labeled "Forums" right on the top button row: This doesn't go to the mods of that game, it goes to the very sections you're looking for, right here inside the forums. I knew there was a limit of games you could put onto your favorites, but I didn't know the number of bookmarks you were having in mind. Still, it was only an addition to my original suggestion, you can still more easily recall the game sites' individual urls than the rather complex url path of a game's forum section in here, even if you can't use the limited game favorites list for this. And yes, you can also more easily search for the "game" on the front page than here inside the forums, and in all cases it will lead you to exactly where you need to go, not any topics or posts, mods or images, inside the place. Just a click on the "Forums" button and you're at your goal. And I'm not interested in fighting over semantics. You call it un-ordered, I was told by administration it is ordered by when the game was added to the list. Thus I'm passing this on, if you accept it or not is your choice. I was just trying to help. There's not much else I can do here on the forums, anyways. And helping you I did, my suggestion for an intermediate solution to your problem is a good one, so I'm done here. If you take it up or not is completely your choice alone. Once a member of the developer staff happens upon your topic they will either take up your request, or they won't, but you won't see anything happen anytime soon. Oh, and, no offense taken. This will take way more than that to happen, ever. Have a nice day.
Thandal
Plus, one can always make a... (what do they call it again? Oh yeah!) a bookmark right in one's own browser for the sites/forums one wants to visit regularly!

I didn't happen to read the third (or was it the fourth?) edit of your request. Solution still valid: Folder in Bookmarks for the Nexus, links to desired forums/sites in folder. Exactly ONE more click than what your asking for to get exactly where you want. (At most. Wouldn't your suggestion still require two clicks to get somewhere else?) And with ZERO bandwidth usage. iXenite
You could just use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+F and type which game you're looking for. That is how I manage to find stuff in the long list of games within the Nexus Forums page.

There might be more useful tidbits there.
iXenite
No problem, glad I could help. CTRL+F is a standard keyboard shortcut that can be used to search things quicker. You can use it in your browser and in word documents. It makes editing files, and searching for key words a lot easier. By the way, at the bottom of this article they share some other very helpful keyboard shortcuts. Linking it is a bit easier than typing them out myself. http://www.smh.com.au/technology/technology-news/only-one-in-10-know-what-ctrlf-does--here-are-shortcuts-you-should-know-20111130-1o69d.html Edited January 13, 2017 by DaddyDirection
