MShoap13
You don't even need to copy an executable to make a dummy file. Just make a blank .txt document and rename it Fallout.exe. No disk space .

MShoap13
Has anyone had any dealings with BSA commander? Yeah, it hasn't been updated to work with Skyrim to my knowledge. Works great for Oblivion though.
cecil101
Thanks again MShoap :)Is there anything else out there that works with Skyrim .nif files? Edited January 12, 2012 by cecil101
MShoap13
Off the top of my head, BSA Browser and BSAopt. You may want to mention that some of these only work on Vista/7. I'm on XP and using FO3Archive. Incompatibility with XP is documented on the one(s) I tried before FO3Archive.

No disk space .The only reason I said to use a copy of the skyrim executable is that TESsnip won't work without it. But the what you described is fine if you're only going to use the extractor.
