Any mods that let you keep settlers out of your house?

Speaking of settlers rummaging through your things, I remember one play through where I didn't realize Sheffield didn't have a weapon by default. I use Better Settlers and don't worry about arming the settlers myself. I realized NPCs could steal from the contents of my containers that same play through and had stopped keeping all the legendaries in containers the settlers could access. I had also placed a pool table with balls and two pool cues on top in my house. One of the pool cues disappeared. I thought it very odd until the next settlement raid when I saw Sheffield wielding the pool cue. So I gave him a super sledge. Now I have a pre-decorated pool table in the CREAtive Clutter mod that is all one piece so no one can steal the pool cues. :D

I have tried most of these methods, but I still get dumb npc's breaking into my fort. It's elevated, has locked doors, minimal seats, and also has ramps I can move so there is no navigable path, but idiots still teleport in there from time to time. I put the items I really care about it a small locked vault on the highest level, that they are less likely to get into. (By the way I highly recommend the Auto Doors mod with craftable keycard controlled locks, it's great.)

What you can do though is stand behind them, click them in console and type "tc" (toggle control), and then walk them out of your building. You can go into workshop mode while controlling them, so you can select/deselect walls and such to create a direct path out as you go.

I take some satisfaction in making them walk off my third story balcony and hearing them complain upon hitting the ground... You'd think that'd teach 'em...

No solution will fully work because beth pathfinding code forces npcs to teleport to furniture markers and other places they want/need to get to.

But can they still teleport to something higher than their sandbox range height?

Possibly not. I think the AOE for the sandbox is 256 or something similar. I know there is a mod that changes NPCs not using upstairs stuff.. so yea, probably not.

According to Multiple Floors Sandboxing mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15608/?:

Why don't NPCs go up and down the floors in a cell (a single loaded area) with multiple floors?
In Skyrim, NPC's sandboxing behaviors are defined to a specific location in 3d (a spherical shape). The global game settings GMST fSandboxCylinderTop and fSandboxCylinderBottom restricts that location to a more flat shape (imagine chopping the top and bottom of an orange off, so it's flat on top and bottom). The default value for fSandboxCylinderTop is 150 and fSandboxCylinderBottom -50, which is too flat for the NPC to notice things the floor above or below (a floor is 288 unit tall).

Of course they might have not changed that part of the description from the original Skyrim mod to whatever the height is in Fallout 4. But I assume Bethesda did raise the height in Fallout 4 since they planned the workshop system.

But due to this, I assumed that NPCs can't teleport themselves to something higher than their normal sandbox area. Of course you know what happens when you assume. :D

It's the reason i never build my house in a settlement with settlers. I build a private place, usually at Coastal cottage and never place a beacon. With a concrete wall, Robot home defense and turrets it becomes an impenatrable fortress where all my stuf is safe and i can relax without being disturbed.

I think I'm going to do this. I built an enclosed workshop with all crafting stations and some manufacturing machinery at the Drive-In that was supposed to be my private area. I kept the door locked via Locksmith but every time I fast travel into the Drive-In there was always a settler inside my locked workshop using my equipment. I ended up giving up on the idea of having a private workshop and just moved all the crafting stations into a small building accessible to everyone. Now that you've mentioned this I think that's what I'll do. I'll find a place with sufficient build area and just not set up a beacon and assign someone from a neighboring settlement as a provisioner going to the new place just so I have access to all settlement materials.
