UUUUUUuuuuuggghhh... Missing textures.

Ok. so, i go to the Priory of the Nine, and i notice a yellow triangle, which, im sure everyone knows means; a missing texture. Now, i go to Data Files, and see that Knights.esp is disabled. So i enable it. Only to come to a realization, and rediscover a problem i had in the first place. When i enable Knights.esp, the game will crash at the Bethesda logo...

Im not going to go into any details...Hell, im not even sure myself what the problem is, but i remember months ago when i encountered it, and simply ended up with a massive headache and said "screw it, i'll just disable the .esp" ; that it was mod-related.

So, all i ask, is assistance in removing EVERY mod i have installed for the game... I haven't messed around with mods for a very, very long time... The only one i want to keep is Natural faces.

Or, rather, instead of getting rid of all mods, i could simply get rid of the mods applied to KotN.

How do i go about doing this?

BAM

*jumps out of his skin*

Fairly simple list you have there at least...related esps are probably Knights - Unofficial Patch.esp, Quest Award Leveller - Knights of the Nine.esp, and of course...

...

Er, well, the KoTN esp isn't even in here, so.

Also, you need to reorder your mods. The unofficial patches need to be lower in the order than the esps that they patch. Otherwise they're completely ineffective because any changes they make are being overridden by the originals. The game always loads esps in descending order (which is why Oblivion.esm is always at the top).

This order would be effective:

Oblivion.esm

Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esp

UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp

DLCOrrery.esp

DLCFrostcrag.esp

DLCSpellTomes.esp

DLCHorseArmor.esp

DLCThievesDen.esp

DLCMehrunesRazor.esp

DLCBattlehornCastle.esp

DLCShiveringIsles.esp

DLCKnights.esp (or whatever it was named)

Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.esp

DLCHorseArmor - Unofficial Patch.esp

DLCOrrery - Unofficial Patch.esp

DLCVileLair - Unofficial Patch.esp

DLCMehrunesRazor - Unofficial Patch.esp

Or OBMM. Why does OBMM get so little love these days, it's much more new-user-friendly than Wrye is :\

To answer your question, it probably won't. But all those bugfix esps are useless to you if they're set up like they are, and wouldn't you rather have the bugs fixed before you run into them during normal play? Some of the base game's bugs are pretty nasty, no doubt the official plugins have some terrible ones of their own.

It might also be that one of the bugfixes deleted the original mesh and set a path to a new one, which would cause this sort of thing. I rather doubt it (even if it used an installer that COULD delete files, I would think that any unofficial patch would leave the originals in place for safety), but it's possible. Worth spending 30 seconds to change your load order and see, anyway.

Ok, so i basically just use the "Move Up" and "Move Down" buttons. Once i exit OBMM, it will save automatically.

ALSO, once that's done, what do i do then, if the problem persists?
