timelorde
Hey guys. So, about a week ago or so I used the Lightning Latex Mask. I didn't like it so I removed it.. however it managed to add a visual glitch to my character that I haven't been able to get rid of. Here is a video of it: Does anyone have any suggestions to help me get rid of it? I've put almost 80 hours into this particular character and it's driving me insane trying to play with it popping up again and again.
MShoap13
Looks like that mask added a slight glow effect to it's eyes and Skyrim somehow saved it to your character file. I've seen similar happenings with Oblivion and fallout in the past. Your best bet at getting rid of/reducing it is to alter the glow effect of the mask to as low as possible (not sure what program you'd do this in) put it back on, save your game, and then uninstall it in the same manner you did the first time. Hopefully this will update the glow effect that's saved to your character with a nonexistent/unnoticeable one. Edit: If this isn't already documented in the mods readme or on it's description page you should contact the author and let them know about this glitch and possibly my suggested workaround. He may even be willing to make an altered fix file to get rid of this (provided my suggestion works). Edited January 13, 2012 by MShoap13
timelorde
Unfortunately the mods maker is korean or chinese, as is the site it's posted on.. so if there is a fix for it I have no way of knowing. :(
KaptTorbjorn
Have you tried using the showracemenu console command to change your race to something else and then back? Just a warning though, it'll probably mess up some of your stats (though you could just re-add them with player.setav skillname ##)
timelorde
Found the problem. For some reason it gave me Draugr abillities. The glow is the same as Draugrs have. :s Fixed it.
