Crash on start with no explanation!

Hey everyone. I've been tweaking my Fallout New Vegas load.-order lately and it should all be fine and dandy as no files are dirty that aren't supposed to be as well as LOOT saying that my load-order is fine. Anyone got a clue what could be missing/going on? Game crashes when launched as of now. I've patched my game with the 4gb patcher as well as installed NVSe. PS. I haven't modded in a long time and this is my first attempt to do so in ages. (the ones not featured with a number in my list are mods that are disabled.) Thanks again!

That's way too many mods. FNV has a plugin limit of 139 or lower depending on your setup.

 

You need to lower that plugin count as a first step before troubleshooting your problem. This includes removing inactive plugins from the data folder.

I don't recall playing with less mods than what is listed here. so the game won't work above 139 plugins you say? thanks for helping me out anyhow. mods that aren't ticked or plugins that aren't ticked, can they pose a danger to my setup even if they're not active etc? /krow900

From the examples I've seen, the game freaks out completely if you go past that number. It may or may not load, but you are guaranteed to have issues eventually.

 

Get the plugin count down below 135 at least, maybe lower. As I said, this includes removing inactive plugins as they also count toward the limit.

Idiotic question coming from me here now but how would I go about removing inactive plugins? I'm super rusty but in the past I recall just searching for them in the DATA directory and removing them from there? Gotta say though it feels a bit weird getting 'guided' from father elijah.

Just remove them from the data folder. Delete them or place them into a sub-folder if you have a reason to keep them on hand.

Located the mod causing the CTD's. It's JSawyer Ultimate edition. Perhaps I have a mod that it conflicts with, I am not certain but it is now solved. I also did as you said Ladez and merged some stuff so I got down to 138 plugins. Thanks for your help.
