Carimya
Hello guys! How can I fix this? When I shoot an arrow at an emey that is more than 20 meters (or maybe even less) away the hit is not registering. I know about the ini tweaks that make the arrows not disapear, that's not the problem. The arrows DONT disappear. They even hit trainingdummies near the enemy. But they just FLY THROUGH the NPCs without dealing any damage. How can I fix this? This is totally annoying me. I've got some realismmods that make me HAVE to shoot from a good distance to not be spotted at daytime. I followed the arrow by using free camera and timefreezing. The arrow ACTUALLY moves all the way through the NPCs body and just keeps flying like the enemy is out of air. And of course the enemy noticed the arrow and starts looking for me. This is REALLY annoying and I just can't find a fix. Do you guys have any ideas please? Any help is appreciated. EDIT: I read that this was a common bug and has been fixed by the unofficial Skyrim legendary edition patch. I have that patch installed but the Problem is still there. IsharaMeradin
[Actor] fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=12288 If that is not in your Skyrim.ini file, add it.
Carimya
As I said I KNOW the ini tweaks and I use them. But it still happens. I'm using exactly that value.
IsharaMeradin
Failure to work with the above mentioned tweak is something that I have never heard. Make sure you are editing the correct INI file. If you are using Mod Organizer, you need to edit the INI file specific to the profile you are using rather than editing the default INI in your Documents folder. Check your installed mods to see if any of them provide an INI file which overrides your values. Read up on your installed mods and see if any of them set the INI value differently via script. Test out a new game if you have not already done so and rule out any data baked into the save file from any previously removed mods. If it still persists, uninstall all mods and revert your game to a stock/vanilla state. Make sure the tweak works on an otherwise non-modded setup. Beyond that, I cannot help. Carimya
The only thing I have installed related to arrows is a mod that makes the arrows fly faster. But It doesn't come with an ini. But I will load up the file and see what it says. Thanks for the help!
