R3Q
This isn't an artifact (depending on the typical definiton of an artifact) but it's still an exclusive bow in game called the Nightingale Bow.. Jerry60k
I would think a bow with a detect life, improved fire rate and a higher stamina drain would be a balanced edition. It would make it easier to find your target and get the second shot but at the cost of draining stamina much faster.

I don't think it's as unbalanced as it sounds, since you can generally get a sneak attack in anyways and once you hit your target they'll be aware of where you are (thanks to lovely Skyrim AI). Might be broken in some interior areas, though, so it would require some careful limitations. Hm.
SaintAnon
How about a bow that allows you to fire multiple arrows? I wanna nail two Forsworn mid charge at once. :whistling:
amblingalong
How about a bow that allows you to fire multiple arrows? I wanna nail two Forsworn mid charge at once. :whistling: 1) You press the 'draw bow' button2) Time freezes3) Movement speed is 0, you can't do anything except aim and fire the bow4) Upon releasing the first arrow, it just hangs in the air in front of your bow, frozen5) Upon the release of the second arrow, time starts normally again, and both arrows hit their target Something like that? chanchan05
Personally would love to see a bow that endows the archer with more firing speed, Legolas comes to mind from LOTR, he seemingly fired arrows like his bow was a semi-automatic weapon, and I really wish I had the game for PC so I could take advantage of faster arrow mods, cuz vanilla they travel seemingly about 1/3 as fast as they should. I wish the "archer perk tree" had about 3 more levels of increased fire rate. Now this idea I like.
Khorak
Am I the only person who never, ever uses magic weapons in Skyrim because I can't be bloody bothered to recharge them? Seriously. Never. You can tell me how easy it is, how little effort it takes....I know. Steam claims I have 295 hours down on this, I really do know. I still can't be bothered. I want to swing my weapon, people to get hurt....that's the extent of it. I wish no other involvement in this process. I have no interest in recharging my sword, like it's my mobile phone and I have to keep it topped up in case I need to cut off a face first thing in the morning. People tell me they're dumbing down games. This may be true. But God damn I just want my magical sword of fire to set things on fire without me having to feed it petrol now and then. (If you want to get them legitimately minus the waiting 48 hours) Spawn Farengar in front of you, buy grand souls, disable and repeat. It's really not that hard either way. justwannaddl
The OP forgot the classic cupid's arrow/bow combination. Fire the magic bow with the custom arrow and you can make an NPC fall in love with the first thing it sees.
Trick13
This may actually be a different topic all together but I wish arrows had a more realistic trajectory or arching/fall rate or whatever you call it. To hit enemies that are a considerable distance away I should have to line them up and then aim high to compensate for gravity, the distance the arrow must travel, oh and maybe some "Kentucky windage" on higher difficulty settings if the game allows for that. Really long shots, like attacking enemies on Fort walls at the edge of effective range should require considerable arch. Would add a great sense of accomplishment to make a long kill shot!!!
